Run on CNG. Running in is for the oil to lube the car well. The fuel doesn't really matter much.

so the up and coming serangoon one is not by Smart? Oh I thought it is....

How I wish we got more bigger players in CNG installation. 3 months is too long a wait. This also meant our demand for CNG right now is too high.

Btw, anyone got experience with Mova for CNG installation?

Today I saw a SMART Taxi. No CNG sticker at the bumper but got CNG decal at window. That looks quite cool leh. I guess thats acceptable now?

When a propane tank is ruptured and the rupture point ignited, the flame will burn from the rupture point. No explosion will happen. Hollywood science is invaded common sense.

Petrol in the other hand will spill on the ground and petrol itself is indeed hard to ignite but petrol fumes is easier than dry tinder. Again Hollywood science has invaded common sense.

No. I was considering Mova. Not sure if their waiting time is lower or not. 1 advantage is that Mova Building is near to where my wife works and I often pass by there.

What's model is your car? Is it a brand new car with CNG fitted?

2nd hand merc NGT? You mean the CNG kit or the whole car? seems like merc NGT are mostly taxis. The problem is I am not sure if their kit will fit mine.

With this 40% rebate off OMV, it makes sense to buy a car with high OMV and get the rebate. But unfortunately, our E200, bulk of the cost is already depreciated. Doesn't makes sense for us to scrap and buy a new one again. New car always super high depreciation.......we are thinking of keeping this old 7yo E200 Kompressor for another 10 years when the COE runs out.

(edited)

Is NGT version being sold as a new car (apart from taxis) ?

I thought they only sell the normal version. Maybe PIs brought them in?

I've checked with Mo*a today. They can't do CNG on W210.

I went to Mo*a today. But unfortunately they ran out of Axio. But I'm also checking out the Airwave. But both their airwave + axio are quite expensive.....he quoted me like 64999 for a Axio with 70% loan and this version don't have the original reverse camera. Airwave was 65999 or so. If I don't want loan, I had to pay 1k more.

Suddenly I felt I was in Borneo asking for a corolla altis. Quite disappointed that I cannot get a good price from them coz they could also do CNG within 1-2months.
