Turbocharged

"firescope like" but the price of the scope is no where near.

iirc it sud be the idealscope.

the rock is not big at all, just that when i dive into "research", i am curious if the scope helps me see the hearts & arrows easily. it does. but after you are used to seeing the H&A, a normal x10 scope will do.

They claim are from Belgium but some don't have the cert to prove. Go for better brand, safer. And go for highest grade that is within your buget. Else ur GF would want a bigger one in future and it will never end...........

You mean highest grade or bigger diamond.

To fully utilise a budget, a person can only choose either,

lowest grade but biggest diamond

highest grade but smallest diamond

Most will choose a go between

If u talk about size, then it would be better to go one size up. Say, 0.51~1.0carat then 0.51 would just do fine rather than say 0.49 carat. And go for VS2 at the very least. Not forget color grade and the cert.

i feel the colour and grade is important, though naked eye will not be able to see the difference.

And though colour and grade may be the same but the quality of the diamond as well as cutting will make the difference.

The color grade and clarity have to be rated before it is mounted to the ring. Yes, u're right color grade is one of the important factor here. One color grade up can cost double the price at Tiffany.
