For that cute classic look?

For that big interior space (kinda)?

For that option to spec it with different color combinations?

For the fact that is owned by BMW?

For the fact that its a pretty zippy car?

You should look somewhere. I feel that getting a mini is cos you have a strong desire for it's cult image. It will not make any sense if you are not attracted to this iconic car. It's doesn't make any sense if you are looking for:-

1) Power:- there are more powerful car for that price,

2) Practicality:- the mini is none of that.

3) Price:- it's pricey, look somewhere else.

Most people buy it cos it's iconic. Probably a dream car for many when they were much younger. It's a car with the x-factor, it's hip and fashionable. On it's performace part, the cooper s can be really fast and fun around the bends...a little like the old. Buying such car is not so much about the money. You are buying a dream, a lifestyle, a brand, etc. If you consider it's built quality, you will find that the price is not too bad.

Why do you need to know?? I'm a mini owner. Not everyone goes for value for money deals.. If you really need to know, people usually buy a mini as a spare car. So basically, it doesn't have to be practical.

As with any car makes, do go for a test drive to find out for yourself if you like it or not. Practicality of the car? Based on what requirements? Only your lifestyle and needs will be able to determine if the car is practical.

The fact that you own a car of any make shows people you have the $$$ to spend. It doesn't have to be a MINI.

Financially, a person does not own the car until the loan is fully settled. It's more like people owe the car since the bank is the actual owner of it if loan is taken for it, that is.
