Power is only power, nothing else. Not finesse, not class, not delicacy.

Rather have a 320i (which I do), than a WRX anytime (Had one before too) laugh.gif

bro,

i am with you on this one, the E90, even in 320i form , has pace, handling and finess in spades. those who don't know won't know..... [;)]

What do you mean by better?

Is better = faster ?

if that's the question, the answer is in the spec sheet.

but if better = better built, better safety, better refinement, better handling, better fun, better ownership experience, better image, better technology, better whatever,.... i think you have the answer too.

but of course,... there are some who will argue till the cows come home...

Totally agree on the 325i part..laugh.gif

As for the 320i, its sufficient for SG roads.

Pardon my input....if really talking about sufficient for SG road.... strictly speaking....altis/sunny/vios comes to mind.....

but now you are talking about luxury/semi-luxury category......sufficient or not is not really in consideration.....when you hit this level....it is how much pleasure/prestige your money can provide you with..... [;)]

nothing personal but I for one will not get the 320i if I know that it is a compromise in technology just to bring it down to singaporean mentality.....if I cannot afford the 325/335...I will rather dun buy at all.... [:p] I see alot of S280 running on the road here....wonder why [sweatdrop]

I rather buy the top of the range in the cheaper model series ...than to get the bottom of the range of another more expensive make....most important, spend within one's means [:)]

Test drove the C200 today... What a great disappointment. Felt totally detached from the car while driving it. To make it worse... the Sales Advisor attending to me had a horrible attitude. Her name's Jennie something. Best to avoid her if you can.

agree on the "spend within one's means" ...

at the end of the day, pple will differ from car to car ... why subject yrself to other's opinion and buy something u may not like ? [dizzy]

it's your money and YOU shd decide how to spend it. [cool]

laugh.gif I agree with you, and you're right, but am talking about compact execs. The 320i is sufficient, unless you really want to stretch up further. Power aside, it has the handling balance, steering precision of its bigger brothers; in fact, it feels more agile than its heavier engined siblings.

Having a 325i Coupe, I can definitely tell the difference between the engines, but as mentioned, other than power (smoothness etc), its pretty much similar.
