Rottweilers Attack again

Excerpts from yesterday's New Paper on the Rottweiler's attack. Does that mean we can bring in pit bull to attack the Rottweilers and it's a small issue?

He said the maid had tied up the rottweilers and opened the gate to let his sister-in-law out.

 

But the electronically-operated gate had not been closed before she untied the dogs again.

 

He said: 'The dogs were not let out intentionally. In future, the maid will use a remote control to shut the gate so she gets a better view.

 

'It's a small matter. None of our dogs will touch a human being.'

I do notice that some owners like to let their dogs run freely at void decks.

 

Just a Tot: Given this scenario, if the dog were to attack me and out of self-defense, I accidentally causes severe injuries to the dog. Will I, in this case be charged under dog abuse?

I tink that family must be some elite that's why AVA allowed them to have 5 dogs whereas the rule is maximum 3 dogs per household. They attacked a Jack Russell Terrier this time. I really hope AVA do something this time, are they gonna wait until those dogs attacked a human being before something is done?

 

Always like that, have to wait until something serious happened then they will take some action.

 

I believe Rottweilers are aggressive by nature, correct me if I'm wrong.

This is not the first time the five rottweilers have been in the news.

In August, Mr Foo Seck Siong, 66, wrote to The Straits Times forum about the dogs, calling them a 'threat to the people in the neighbourhood'.

He is the immediate neighbour of the dogs' owners.

Mr Foo said one of the rottweilers had attacked a small dog a couple of years ago.

Madam Satpal confirmed this, saying they paid compensation to the dog's owner.

The rottweilers were let out unintentionally (alleged) and attacked a smaller dog. The owner of the smaller dog was also injured while protecting his dog.

The Jack Russell owner should proceed to sue that irresponsible elite dog owner for negligence, or even attempted murder (presume the rottweiler can be a dangerous weapon if no due care was taken to prevent the dog from running amok)...

The family only asked Mr Ow (the jack russel's owner) wad happened and said they will pay for the medical fees. Money very powerful?

 

When asked about another attack that happened a few yrs back, Mdm Sapal confirmed that saying that they paid compensation to the dog's owner.

 

So u notice, the whole ting is about compensation, money. So if their dogs were to kill others, this family will use $ to settle the issue. WTF!

WTS!?!?! the family not only have 1, 2 or 3 they have freaking 5 rottweilers!!! to me they sound violent enough to attack other dogs, u never know one fine day the dog will mistake a child or an adult as a threat and attack... as usual the authority is not gonna do anything until one fine day the dog decides to attack a person or a child then there'll be a whole hu ha about why this could have happpen? oh well...
