Opinion of having one rim different from the rest.

As I have mentioned in another thread that my front left rim is bent and beyod repair. But the thought of changin all 4 rims just because on one damaged seems quite wasteful. My rim already out of production as told by the tyre shop.

Need your honest opinion what do you think of changing just one rim to a different design. Would you gives a [thumbsdown] in aesthetic?

why dont you try to search for the same rim secondhand - i think you may have to buy the whole set, but then got 3 rims as spare. price should be half or less of what new rims cost. maybe you can use your situation as a bargaining chip to the seller/dealer

I've seen a white lexus IS250 with different rims deisgn between the front and back. If you are concern about cost and don't mind the look, try to find one of the same offset and same weight.
