This is what will happen when teachers are stressed by the top to improve their school's grading.

 

Probably more of such cases went unreported.

The credibility of the Singapore education system is at stake. If even teachers resort to cheating, what more can we expect of the students. The teacher concerned has betrayed the trust placed upon her and it is her responsibility to ensure that the examination was carried out in a fair and proper manner.

 

Her indiscretion has tainted the education system and if she has done that in the past without being found out, her action may have had affected other students competing for places in the Secondary schools, JCs, polys or even Unis. If her action has helped her students in the past to score more marks, her dishonesty may have deprived other students their rightful places in those institutions. Imagine if one of the displaced students were to be your bro/sis or son/daughter. His/her whole life and future may have been affected adversely. How would you feel then?

 

Vandalising a car or punching someone, affects only a single victim. The consequences of her action are far-reaching and may have affected many students whose future may have been changed irrevocably......... Hence, this incident should not be taken lightly
