Mercedes is top of fuel tank or fuel tank crack. It’s all cause of using biodegradable plastics and also to make sure their parts department get their fair share of revenue. What’s wrong to earn more money.

"The fire involved a non-electric vehicle and was extinguished by the activation of the MCE's deluge system, as well as firefighters using a compressed air foam jet."

similar logic here 😅

"A 50-year-old Singaporean man has been arrested by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) on 9 July 2025 for suspected drug trafficking...."

Because Gov't wanted everybody change to EV ASAP,if too many EVs caught Fire,Public got Bad Impression that EVs are Dangerous, less People will switch to EV...If everyday got 1 EV caught Fire, nobody will buy it.

SINGAPORE: Traffic came to a standstill on the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) in the direction of the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on Thursday (Sep 18) after a car caught fire in the MCE tunnel.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at around 6.40pm. The fire involved a non-electric vehicle and was extinguished by the activation of the MCE's deluge system, as well as firefighters using a compressed air foam jet.

SCDF said that there were no reported injuries and that the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Look like old Honda Stream.

Years ago my colleague's old Honda Stream also suddenly caught fire while driving. Suspect previous owners done some electrical mods on the car.

ICE cars common cause of fire is due to those aftermarket electrical mods e.g. those special gadgets to 'regulate' battery voltage or boost spark voltage for more power etc. LOL.
