Honda has been recalling cars worldwide due to fire risks. Many of these Honda Fit come from PI and some of the dealers couldnt be bothered to help owners with the recall. LTA also dont do any enforcement to make sure the cars replace the defective parts.

As usual somebody has to bear with the fire risk.

Looks like confining to the US market only

Maintenance lacking?

owner trying to save a dime or two?

I hope the higher COE prices encourage owners to maintain their cars better to keep them running well

Not in SGP, dont know where and when. am curious what caused the explosion ? What is the flying organe object ?  If you slow the video down, the explosion seemed to have come from the rear,  not the front. The cars there looked like were having some gas refilling from the front ?

The article mentioned that it was engulfed in flames AFTER an accident. 

May or may not be due to poor or lack of maintenance.

Really wrong place wrong time. If that guy stayed put or run slower/faster, orange UFO would have missed him.

Depends on what you mean by swift bah.  Worked in emergency department.  Sometimes person go to work, sit down at meeting room and the heart just stop beating and he dies 

This kind of swift I rather not have.  No closure for the living.

For me, maybe terminal illness and die in a few weeks or months to get my affairs in order. Or at least a few days.  Not instantaneously.
