Yesterday I saw...

A Civic Hybrid.

What's special was that the lady sitting in the front seat had TWO children sitting with her (presumably her offspring). The children were about 4~6 years old.

What would happen if they get involved in an accident? Who would crush who?

OK, so they are not my children. OK, so I should not be bothered...

Thank you for reading.

Supercharged

well, the driver is in charge of passenger safety also.

therefore, failing to properly secure kids should also be an offence.

imagine the kids flying forward to ram the dashboard or windscreen if the driver e-brakes sweatdrop.gif

some people simply don't think about consequences of their (in)actions rifle.gif

In tom yum land, I have seen 2 passengers plus 2 children on a tiny winy motorbike. It's no big deal overseas. [nod]

Well, just be responsible for your actions when the time comes. [gossip]

Of cos I must agree with your point. But the thing here is it was not stated whether she's the driver as well.

Safety comes first esp at this time when there are too many vehicles on our roads liao

Forgot to add that she was not the driver.

A slight fender bender will get the children thrown onto the deeply raked windscreen of the Civic.

A harder bump that triggers the airbag could easily kill the children, what with the extra hammering caused by the woman's body. Not a pretty sight.

Parents like that should be charged with attempted murder.

Turbocharged

When I was in Thailand and Indonesia, it was a common sight to see a family of 4 squeezing on one motor-bike, going for a family outing.
