Sell that Lonado lah. Keep this idiot for what. 42 goals last season so what. Ungrateful rat, if he wan to go Real, just let him go n use the $$$ on better player. I dun think he is that good. Mayb onli in EPL. He is no where near any of the football legends.

I still haven't forget my wish on Lonado. Somebody should whacked his legs jialat jialat. Let him be out for at least 2 seasons like what happened to Ronaldo at Inter in the late 1990s.

U'r right... ronaldo needs one serious injury to be back to mortality

all great players have been excellent until they met with a plaguing injury.

Think Thierry Henry, Owen, Brazil Ronaldo etc.

Fergie was quoted saying he dun expect any teams to break into the usual stronghold of the big 4 ie Man U, Ars, Chelsea and Pool this coming season. I think he spoke too soon. What makes him think a Spurs steered by Ramos with top signings such as Modric and Dan Santos cannot finished 4th this season? Or a Man City managed by Hughes that is bankrolled by Thaksin?? As a seasoned manager, I find his conclusions a little premature. Who can forget the modest Ipswich who once nearly finish 4th under George Burley? Spurs once nearly pip Ars for 4th spot also.

all those "once" and "nearly" are useless terms in football world...

Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to pledge his future to Manchester United. The Daily Express says Ronaldo has told close friends and advisers he is unhappy at Real's public prevaricating. Also ESPN latest : Magpies complete deal for winger Gutierrez

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan has signalled his intention to bring the thrills back to St James' Park by making Argentina winger Jonas Gutierrez his first summer signing.

Jonas, nicknamed 'Spiderman' because of his distinctive goal celebrations, has joined the Magpies from Spanish side Real Mallorca on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old - he celebrates his 25th birthday on Saturday - will join up with his new team-mates after a short break following his post-season exertions with his country, which ended with a 0-0 World Cup qualifying draw in Brazil on June 18.

Keegan will hope Jonas' arrival is the first of several over the next few weeks as he attempts to drag the club back into the upper reaches of the Barclays Premier League table.
