Nine_eleven 2nd Gear July 10, 2008 Share July 10, 2008 10kg pathetic meh?? you would be surprised by many fellow forummers here on how they removed their spare tyre from their boots to lighten the car.. the point is that you could get the 10kg or more weight saving by just removing the spare tyre (not sure if Type R comes with one though), therefore it's all that not significant. the Type R doesn't come with a spare tire or even a space saver. only a air compressor and liquid sealant. A type R with a good modifified CAI can probably give you that. I can save 10kg or more with Carbon Fibre bonnet or trunk. And how many horses in total from this RR? 240 lets say...thats nothing these days for performanc models, alot of cars can jiak the RR then n cost less.
