Bluepica 4th Gear July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 For me, I hate ppl who park too close next to my car if the lot provided is wide enough but exceptional is given if the lot is small. ↡ Advertisement
So_nice 6th Gear July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 i drive a small car. hence never too hard to park
Bieffe 2nd Gear July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 Will park bias one side nearer the pillar so space to the next car is wider.
Ultramega 1st Gear July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 Option 3 for me. Cos i don't want to dent other people's car, and also don't want other people to dent my car. But fark, people still dent my car.
Swiftboi Neutral Newbie July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 at mscp i always look for the side near the pillars and park near pillar so for e.g when u have to come out fr right side then even the right side vehicle no matter how they park they have to siam their own left side pillar so i have alot of space on my both side tat mean my rite side pillar small little trick everyone can try out
Wanderer Clutched July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 Option 3. Occasionally, I do have some parking idiots who parked too near to the side of the lot. So if the driver's side of the other car is jammed, I will laugh at the bugger secretly
The_young_once Neutral Newbie July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 i voted for option 1, but its not anyhow, i make sure left and right car can open door properly; one thing i dont understand why most (if not almost all) singaporeans dont head in park, since a kid my dad always told me (and he does it too), if the car is small enough, head in park, doesnt make sense to adjust and reverse and check mirror and what else.... just to reverse park i head-in park whenever possible
Tommyjen Neutral Newbie July 11, 2008 Share July 11, 2008 because when u try to reverse out, difficult to see any oncoming cars coming, especially if a lorry or van parked beside you. ALso, risk of hitting the bumper of the car beside you, cos our MSCP not very wide. I kena before from duno who, morning came and saw some marks on my front bumper corner! Silver_blade Turbocharged July 12, 2008 Share July 12, 2008 Most of the time, I reserve in properly. But occasionally, II will head-in nicely (which there is no option for it)
Saggi 1st Gear July 12, 2008 Share July 12, 2008 brother , the vote sentense not correct... head-in does not mean anyhow park.. headin normally is old bird driver fyi... only those new plate they park reserve in as train in te driving circuit lah... so if you go malaysia.. one look you know which car is mostly singaporean driver.. reserve in..!! who say head in cannot part inbetween the box with sufficient spare for car beside..? Starsaaa Neutral Newbie July 12, 2008 Share July 12, 2008 Once I park between 2 lots, the one on my rite is a merc with considerable space for them to open car door, and on the left is a lorry parked head in with lotsa amt of space( unless he open the door full strectch or else wont ganna..) The merc went out and three other cars came in.... Guess wat, the lorry left a very deep dent on my ride !! Don noe why this happen.. Funny mentality!! Ixiz Clutched July 12, 2008 Share July 12, 2008 Another trend i noted also is that mostly SUV, MPV or hatchback like to park head in as well in multi Storey . Last time i do not know the reason for it until i got myself a Hatch . Some of the multi story are just not really user friendly to this type of car. You just simply can't seems to be open the boot unless you park further out. (The railing or the wall always cause some obstructions.)
Vtim 3rd Gear July 12, 2008 Share July 12, 2008 I normally park at the corner slot and squeeze as close to the edge, wall, pillar that is on the passenger side
