Sony 1st Gear January 2, 2009 Share January 2, 2009 The modeo was one of my choice then but i got the Astra coz it got much more buttons..and i rather start with a 1.6l as my first car so that people don't talk... the test unit by RM really don't help when it's so bare.. but the actual model was much better.. Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear January 12, 2009 Share January 12, 2009 tested the new mondeo...ride was crashy, and engine just powerful enough to get it moving...interior is huge though, but headroom is tight...rear seats a bit too upright for me...you don't get the planted feeling... focus handles like a dream, but the lack of power really kick me in the ass...thought of getting the focus too, but the engine really disappoints...whenever there is an open stretch of road, rev it, it's still not going any faster...really disappoints a good handler...and spoils the overall feeling... your ford mondeo should be a good handler right??? at least on the same level as the focus??? yours 2.0l or the 2.5V6 one??? read in the review that 2.0L is underpowered, is it true???
