how is the traffic so far in KPE

 

esp during peak hour like 8-9am and 6pm onwards at night?

Buangkok exit not open yet. I drove on KPE from TPE to Sims Ave.

I tried KPE today, from TPE to Sims Ave, at ard 7pm. No cars at all. All the way only my vehicle and a lorry behind me.

traffic very smooth from TPE to airport road... the only "jam" is the 70km/hr speed limit. because got no cars you really want to move a bit faster so have to eyeball the speed meter all the time. Lucky I only spend like 2-3 mins in the tunnel as I get out at airport road.

 

There is a short jam at tpe towards SLE (up to pungol) because of the road works. I think they are widening the TPE when KPE join TPE but haven't finished.....

kpe itself very light traffic. but the two ends ecp and tpe exit will experience slow traffic during peak hours

yup, the airport road exit is correct. The website is WRONG. The exit labeled as bartley road on the website is labeled as the airport road exit on the KPE. I think it is because the bartley road east is not completed yet.

 

U have to right turn into payer lebar road, then left turn to bartley road.

 

I take that exit everyday. The 70km/hr limit is driving me nuts. Lucky I only drive for a short stretch as I take the first exit out.

just now on the way back, i tried to exit at buangkok but had to quickly swerve out after i saw barriers there. I remember i saw the website the various entrances and exits and the one after tampines road is buangkok, why they said fully in operation and yet the exit is not yet ready, knn, almost rammed onto the barriers and i saw a car behind also trying to exit at that part and then did the same stunt as me..
