My fastest was almost 110km/h driving my Civic. It's a relatively light car (1.8 MT), so the pick up is fast. But beyond that, it's all about one's guts and risk appetite because at high speeds, it can be rather hair raising experience.

er..it doesn't take much guts to go beyond 110km/h..

you should try NSH..where the avg speed for cars is 130-140km/h..

my Civic 1.5 can easily hit 140km/h..so for you, i think 140km/h should be no feel also..

It not my QQ but I've heard that even QQ's can make it to 170 kmph. I read that somewhere in our Vertex forum. [nod]

there's a saying, "with enough power, even a brick can fly"

there's no limits to modding if you have an endless supply of moolah..

but i sure hope the 170kmh QQ has it's wheels upgraded to min 195-200 width and has decent brakes..if not, 170kmh to immediate standstill..even chery won't recognise that the wreck is one of it's own car..

Yah, give me at least 1 more year of driving everyday on the road, then I'll go across the causeway. Right now I still feel I'm not ready, and need to chalk up more driving experience.

i think that is kind of wrong mentality in learning.. if u keep "learning" within sg, u will still never learn what's required to drive in my... dont worry so much and just go in one of this day..... the easiest way is go the second link, go in, clear some carbon and u-turn back. all u need is ur passport plus 2hrs of free time...........[sly]

of all places, you recommend 2nd link?

That's prob the 'hottest' spot for boleh-land TP..i've seen more speed trap and road blocks there than any other stretch of msian highway..and their objective is only to catch SG cars..they hallucinate our Sxx xxxx x plate as RM 50 [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Help me here, as I have trouble understanding

If one has endless supply of moolah, wouldn't it be better spent on a better car at the first place?
