for car I drove a Subaru WRX MY99 on Hume highway in Victoria Australia at almost 220km/h.

Been a long long time since i saw the big '2'....

 

Biking days....

1) Suzuki GSXR400RR 'K' model (Slingshot) - 240kph

2) Kawasaki ZX7R 'J2' model - 260kph

3) Honda Magna VF4 - 125mph ~around 200kph

 

Driving days....

1) Nissan S13 - 240kph

2) Honda EK4 - 235kph

 

Now on my SUV only tried up to 180kph on NSHW.... old liao, entering mid life crisis... so balls shrunk and dun wana go further...

I'm appalled to see so many votes for > 200 km/h.

 

Personally, I don't think NSH is that safe to be going at that kind of speed.

If you were travelling in Europe (eg. autobahn), I'd have fewer concerns though.

And please don't exceed the speed rating of your car or the tyres.

Nope, I don't use Open face helment when I ride to Malaysia or Thailand. I am using a Japnese full face Arai RXZIII. This helmet is one of the top grade helment. It is tight fit into my head. On the normal speed between 100 to 200km/h per hour, there isn't any kind of pressure which I have mentioned in my previous post. But once I reach 250km/h onward toward to 290km/h that is where I will feel the different. The front really come in and touch your chin and nose. Anyway, nice chating with you here. Hee.. I know u dun use open-face. Quite a no. of stormers dun too. I m concerned abt your safety.. & worries if helmet has got loose over the yrs. A loose full face is worse off than a gd open-face. Nope Arai is not one of the top grade, it is indeed a top grade helmet given the compound use to make the helmet & the features. This is where the $ goes to anyway. In terms of protection, any helmet with approved sticker will provide the rider head protection, anything else becomes a luxury. Cheers...

And to all the bikers out there, going at such high speeds is really being a daredevil - one mistake can say bye bye liau. I can't imagine the feeling of the wind pressing on the body and holding onto the handle as hard as you can. Must be an out-of-this-world experience!

i nvr drive a LS before but a couple of weeks back i was otw to melaka. stopped by at pagor for petrol. a uncle with his LS was already there. after i finish he was still filling! den while cruising at around 140km/h i saw this LS coming from the back real fast, so LL siam to the left. few seconds later he zoom past me!

 

guess wad thou i already know he's a sg car i cant even see his license plate!!

 

i was simply impressed and admiring his rd holding far back.

actually 160-180km/hr is a pretty nice cruising speed for big bikes. The wind is strong, but not as bad as you said or many think.

 

For big touring bikes, they can go at 180-200km/hr comfortable all days long. STX1300, FJR1300, Goldwing 1500/1800, etc.

 

For other superbikes, hitting 280km/hr is just a twist of the wrist.
