They have some classification for sedan when it come to certain make, lowest in the ranks are Korean, Japs, Ford, Renault and even VW are in then follow by Audi then Merc/BMW

Not to insult or rank the Brands. Just an echo of what the writer has wrote on his article. [rolleyes]

hmmm..have you tried driving on NSH before?

If you've driven there before, you should know that it's not uncommon for cars(SG plated and local alike) to hit 180kmh..you will also have seen cars that go in excess of 200kmh..which again, is not uncommon also..

personally, i've gone up to 150kmh..but decided not to go any higher because i have my family in tow..

and YES..there are alot of cars who drive until almost kissing the rear bumper of a hogger simply because the hogger refuse to give way..

I went to dictionery.reference.com and it gave the meaning of cruising as such:

To travel at a constant speed or at a speed providing maximum operating efficiency for a sustained period.

The key word is "sustained period". If one has short brust of max speed and is pushing the car at max rpm, it should be speeding not cruising [:p] .

Regards,

alwite, now we are getting technical. So wat constitute "sustained period"? 20 mins in a 4 hour drive? or 50km out of 200km? We are in for some major disagreement here.

Very simple....

NSH - My record so far... From Tanjong Kupang (2nd link toll) to Rawang 346km. Did it in 2h 15mins (5am run)

Average speed 153.77kmh. (I already minus 15mins for petrol at Serembang).

A friend did it on a BMW M3 from Sg Besi to Tanjong Kupang 294.5km in 1 hr 45mins

Average speed 168.28kmh. (should be faster one...cos he kenna stop 2x by cops) He said that he was averaging 180kmh most of the time...crazy bugger....he was betting with a friend that he could get from KL to JB in under 2 hours.

So just use total distance divided by time taken....this one dun need to argue.

No, the lights won't irritate the other drivers, but the driver does. [smash]

Now you know why s'porean cars and drivers are targeted and hated. [rifle]

my best record so far, From 2nd link to Cheras home (took around 10mins after exiting sungei besi toll), ~ 2hrs 20mins.. with one toilet break of less than 10mins... (~2am clear jb custom at 2nd link, reach kl home main gate, stop engine at ~4:20am....).....

so, my cruising speed is around 150km/h i think..... [blush]

Turn out at Danga Mall exit..... then just follow the road all the way... do not turn left or right.... it will lead you to the NSHWY as it terminates there.

Hi

A noob question, from the new CIQ, which way should I take to get to the NSH? Or safer to go via 2nd link? Thanks

After CIQ, you can take Tebrau h/way to get to NSH. Of course you can take 2nd link but you have to pay $$ for toli fees.
