Normally front mounted cameras are for tight spaces and for checking blind spot over corners. And are mostly factory fitted solutions. Normal cameras cannot make it lah.

It comes with a switch to toggle the front camera on / off. Attached is a Toyota Genuine Front camera. This camera cost around S$250.

Buy from where?

Cameras infront can be used for other purpose as well.

I read about those that comes with the Bmw 7 series.

They are also used when turning and u cant see oncoming traffic. U juz have to pop ur front bumper out abit and look from the cameras.

It is a safety gadget, u wont run to run down a toddler behind your car when he is not within your sight.

Some errant drivers don't even slow down when you are inching out from a lot (even with headlights on), a front parking camera helps.

Though I dont understand the use of a Front Parking Camera.... but hey.... whatever gadget you need to make the driving safer is always welcome..... was hoping one day automatic parking one... lucky best.... in fact, those of you who hate your mother in law so much, may consider tieing her to the front..... confirm very effective... Hi, i just bought one from www.Emergency.sg , they are the manufacturer according to the boss, cost me just $199, bloody good product. Everything i need all have. Night Vision, Date & Time Stamp, Auto Start & Stop when car start stop, record audio, output to TV Direct, output to USB, SD CARD up to 32GB, cycle recording, internal battery so you can record if no power or car stop.

i have installed for 2 weeks and works like a charm, drove all the way to jb and record everything for me to playback.....

you should try this one.....

I've got 2 front cameras in my car. Sometimes I have 4. My eyes and my wife's eyes. The wife's eyes come with a 2 stage alert. 1st stage is audio 2nd stage tactile as she normally smacks me in the head.

Seriously, the planet has driven cars for over 100 years without these aids. Just care and attention to the environment not attention to the in dash screen while pulling out into a busy road. Parking sensors for the front can be very useful but a camera is just a distraction IMHO.

Hi TS

I suggest that you install front sensor with a small LCD that tells you the distance your car is to the kerb. Saw it on my friend brand new forrester :) it was one of the free gifts that they gave cos they paid in cash... can check it out.. it will prompt you when you are too near a wall or kerb i think and its not only the sound but the distance too will flash on the small LCD.. like 2.1 not sure what units but example 2.1inch to the wall, something like that

4 years ago i help drove my friend's dad 5 month old chrysller to fix something when he was away, the same one that became taxi now, that car was quite difficult to parellel park cos it was long a d really wide.. he paid $166k for the car, wah scared sia hahhaa so i guess something like that can help..
