Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear September 21, 2009 Share September 21, 2009 they should be coming out with beige and all black interior to meet customers demand... yes...it's a really huge car...easily dwafts the Wish and Stream...but that makes the performance of the Exora even worse... to me a Wish is quite underpowered for me...even with 5 onboard...can't imagine with 7... since Exora is worse, can't imagine... Bro i dun think Exora is too underpowered,My mum in law own one.Afterall its an MPV what do we expect,The pick up like sport cars?Well i cant deny the pick up is sluggish when full load but after certain rpm(2.5-3k rpm) the power kicks in.The gear ratio is different from other CPS powered engine vehicles, plus the engine is slightly tweaked by Proton engineer to reduce the lag. Panhard 1st Gear September 22, 2009 Share September 22, 2009 yes! the campro engine on the exora is specially tuned so that it doesnt feel like a 1.6 anymore.once it hits 3,500rpm at top gear with full load of 7.its fine. was back from melaka 2 weeks ago & all the exoras on the highway dont seem to be driven like it was underpower. all zoom, zoom & disappeared in thin air in secs... True enough but if your rides fitted with performance drop in filter, good grade spark pulgs and oils it doesnt take till 3-3.5k,Just 2.5-3 k the power kicks in.One thing Campro engine need high rev to gain its power.Only good in mid range and top speed. Vinceng Turbocharged September 26, 2009 Share September 26, 2009 Pro: Good space, neat handling, good ride, strong air-con Con: Fit & Finish below par, flimsy gear knob, weak engine, noisy on road(compared to Carens), expensive price tag for a Malaysian-made car... Exora and Accent quality is world apart. Accent more plastic interior.
Tas0577 1st Gear September 28, 2009 Share September 28, 2009 Happen to see 2 on the road and the pickup when going up slope is so so slow! It is really underpower, for goodness sake.
