I am trying to find the steering wheel knob that will allow me to drive with one hand.

 

 

 

Steering wheel knobs are no good for pricise steering.

So beware when in use.

the rear LH interior panel when stripped showing a/con blower & ducts

a/con ducts leading up to the roof panel

roof mounted a/con ducts serving the 2nd & 3rd rows acon vents

I have just collected my Exora manual yesterday.

Overall, the drive was good, except for:

1) manual gears engagement

- find it a bit hard to engage, position of gear stick would require arm to reach out.

 

2) Pick up

- cannot compared to sedan cars. Average speed 80 - 100km is OK.

- change to Hurricane stainless steel filter for $110.

- Slight improvement.

 

3) Fuel consumption

- drive 80km, AFC: 13L/100Km

 

4) Overall

- I am happy and satisfied with the car.

hi CK, congrats on getting your new ride.

 

read in the malaysian forum that most new manual versions-- gear lever is stiff but not to worry,

after some driving it gets better

 

....same goes for FC- will improve after your 1k oil change & better & better as mileage grow.

 

i know how you feel--13L/100km works out to 7.7km/litre-- scary but should improve to

around 9.5-10km. yours should be better since manual.

 

well as for pick-up, just keep telling yourself its a mpv not a coupe....but after some getting used

to the accelerator- you'll know the trick!

 

ya! totally agree with you--the exora is a lovely car to drive-truely enjoy every ride.

no regrets!

Hi Cktham,

Look forward to your review of the manual Exora especially the FC after a few tankfuls. The best way of monitoring is using the mileage per tank for a more accurate figure.

aiyah... hand pain lah. Need a lot of effort to turn the wheel when parking and cornering.

Managed to get the knob liow. Now trying to find the right size screws to fit on the waja.

Anyone got any idea how thick the steering handle is?

hi guys, pls check both your 12v power socket located infront & at rear.

 

just discovered that mine at the front not working when i wanted to insert the vacuum plug.

 

but tried the rear one-ok!

 

will report at next service.

yes, you should check the fuses and wiring, i remember the In-vehicle Unit faulty after one week took over my ride, send in to check at LTA appointed service center, discovered the wiring was not connected properly. cost me $5.35 :angry:

wonder how is the other bro's exora that we met having some oil leak problem from engine.....still didnt come in this forum yet?

 

thinking of arranging a meet up for all exora car owners in s'pore....any suggestion where is good place,day & time??
