THREE people were burnt alive when the car they were travelling in crashed along Loyang Avenue last night and burst into a giant fireball.

No details about the victims were available, but police said they were killed on the spot.

The Subaru car they were in was headed towards Changi Village around 9pm when the accident occurred.

Police said it skidded off the road and into a tree along the road divider before going up in flames.

Singapore Civil Defence Force officers, who arrived on the scene shortly after police were called, took 15 minutes to put out the blaze.

They then discovered the charred bodies of the three victims. Paramedics later pronounced them dead.

Witnesses said the blaze was so big that it could be seen from several traffic light stops away.

Said one, Madam Rohana Kahar, 37, who was headed to her home in Pasir Ris at the time: 'The flames reached the height of a tree. I also heard several explosions.'

Police are investigating.

Don know if they are travelling very fast.

I once eye witness a case last year at bukit timah road. 2 car was racing, a fairlady and a evo 8. Dashing damn fast. Then they both crash because they want to siam a car, but they travelling too fast, when siam, hit a bus. Both cars burst into flame and burn for around 20 min. Both young driver died...

Along the pesdestrian walkway... all people saying they deserved it.... [confused]

remember there was a case one or two years ago where a lady driver turn right before the right arrow come out and without giving way to an oncoming motorcycle? the motor fellow died

the girl said: i thot at yellow, the motor should stop [shakehead]

remember there was a lady driver who chiong red light and smash into a motor? cant remember whether the maid or the rider died [shakehead]

remember there was once a car that was racing with another in changi and overtook a car by going into the oppoiste direction lane? he met a DHL truck and not a little motor [shakehead]

remember there was a race in orchard road and a car crash into a teksi? teksi guy died [shakehead]

if there was a motor guy who decided not to overtake the bus when these two chaps crash into the bus, i think he will be thanking his lucky stars

nobody deserves to die.. [furious]

not like that, the passengers were innocent, they had no control over the car.

RIP to the 3 of them [angel]

i don't think deserve death. crippled maybe. BUT...if other people die because of their stupid rash racing to compensate for their small penis, death is too easy, crippled also not enough punishment.

edit - about koko and 2 cars racing.

i also pity the 2 passengers more than the driver, they were not even controlling the car. poor thing. haiz. i believe one of the worse ways to die is to be burnt to death.
