ERP Charge after 2230Hrs at CTE ???

Just now i encounter CTE charge for ERP. All the car go very slow.. Looking at the ERP system. [confused][confused][confused] . Anybody know why?

I agree, ERP in the city on sat evenings till 8pm makes little sense.

 

for me, I just avoid going to town for shopping or food during the ERP hours.

I always time myself to enter town after 8pm.

 

ERP on Saturdays are absurd.

With the start of the constructions of the circle line in Bugis, the traffic there now is horrendous even on Sat nite.

I always been wondering why ERP operates till Sat night 8pm in town area?

Isn't we suppose to boost the economy with more shopping on weekends?

 

And I don't see massive traffic in areas like Bugis on Sat nights.. maybe should review?

yeah.. i thought most of us do not work on Saturdays already? do we need to regulate traffic in the marina square/china town area if it is not a working day? [confused]

It is not about working. It is about the bigger flow of traffic coming from a certain direction, through certain roads and heading towards a particular destination.....They try to regulate by the bigger flow of moving traffic regardless of weekdays or weekends.
