Camry is a nice reliable family car ! No problems when i last drive for 3 yrs before changing. Min repairs n fuss as hardly any problems at all ! Only find car a tad bulky when comes to parallel parking ..

Think wont gd wrong with Camry ! Enjoy yr ride !! :-)

Thanks bro..... Been driving for 2 weeks already and I am totally loving it. It's quiet and very stable. Yes parallel parking is a pain. Hahahaha only problem I have now is the head unit.... It seem to be not working properly. Thinking of changing to a pioneer unit but don't want to spend too much on one. Will be looking around before deciding.

I got a 2007 Camry last year for $54K.

The car is pretty ok just that the dashboard pretty cui> will become sticky under hot sun.

Apparently, this is a flaw for older gen camry and a few lexus models.

Of course, BM refused to replace for me since the car's warranty has expired.

Axeman24, does your car have this problem too?

Well, I spent quite a fair bit replacing parts of the car since it's pretty old with a high mileage over 150k.

Engine filter, air con filter, radiator, front lower arm, fuel pump, brake pads, camber bolts, CV joint, air con compressor and coil.

Currently, the car performs pretty alright and I think should be able to last till its COE is up.

Hi bro, I am fortunate that I didn't have sticky dash board problem. However what I did is to apply a layer of dash board cleaner. I think that will solve the sticky dash board problem. I did the same for my previous car Axio as apparently it also has this sticky dash board problem. Hope this helps.

I changed my headunit and added a reverse cam.

The cam really helps with the parking. =)

Bro you also own a Camry? What headunit you change to? Where did you get it changes? Problem with my current unit is the display is only 800 x 400 so if its too bright you can't see the screen and it is a problem when you are doing reverse parking in an open air parking.

Ya. Camry owner too. Same model as u but older.

Mine is Pioneer headunit.

I change all at Autoimage Enterprise. Good workmanship no issues. I have this steering remote module which links the controls to the HU.

If car is under bright sun, its normal not able to see the screen. But u still can hear the sensors.

The cam is useful when i park at hdb parking. Can really park right into the lot so the bonnet not protruding out.

Finally got my ride and have been driving for a week already. Just did a servicing and of changing all the necessary oils, shock absorbers, water pump, oil sump gasket and 2 back tyres. The engine itself is as smooth as silk, the ride is comfortable and fantastic. Inside the cabin the sound insulation is good. Overall, I am please. However, its a black car so it will be tough to maintain well, therefore I am going to go from carbon wrap on the bonnet, roof and boot. :D

arbon wrap on a camry? Please dont. Though i have seen worse . A camry with a GT wing ....
