Skunk Clutched September 18, 2010 Share September 18, 2010 Wonderful evidence that protein shakes probably is an overkill n will probably make people other than the most hardcore bodybuilder fat instead of ripped! ↡ Advertisement
Skunk Clutched September 18, 2010 Share September 18, 2010 Yes, u should eat lots of fried stuff, but only if it's fried in butter, lard, ghee or even better, coconut oil. Just cut out all soy products. The protein inside plants sources r poorly bioavailable, meaning it's there but your body absorbs it poorly. N cut out all carbohydrate n watch your bodyfat totally melt away.
Hamburger Hypersonic September 18, 2010 Share September 18, 2010 Fruits from our ancestor time are seasonal, so I guess they probably eat fruits for a month in a year. Which translate it's alright if we whack season fruits like durian for a month once a year. resistence to durian is futile in my context........ , but I eat premium one if I were to cheat

Marvelicious 3rd Gear September 19, 2010 Share September 19, 2010 I guess you didn't read the thread then, haha. I avoid pork and chicken, always choosing red meat (the fattier the better) first before everything, and adding a tonne of butter to further increase the fat content. Around here, it's mostly about the evolution of human kind and how we have identical DNA to people who existed millions of years ago, and how to eat and move in a manner that maximizes our gene expression. I have lost around 40kg, lowered my cholesterol, reversed my diabetic symtoms, normalized my blood pressure, achieved an approximately 10% bodyfat composition, have a physique that no one believes I did not achieve in the gym...by eating a diet comprising of 70% fat, 20% protein and 10% carbs. If you're already pretty lean, and want to achieve something like 6% body fat, sure, less fat intake, or generally eating less will help you achieve that. But what this thread about is how to lose weight, stay lean, be healthy effortlessly. Before you dismiss the notion that fat is bad, there is plenty of scientific studies, commentaries...etc peppered all over the thread for your consideration. I am happy for you, yet pretty shocked at the same time ahaha. You mean you just ate fatty stuff and without going to the gym, you managed to lose weight and stay healthy? It sounds really incredulous to me, not that i am doubting you. I can understand that we do not need as much protein as claimed by those protein manufacturers. And I don't really stuff myself with protein shakes, prob about 1 or 2 scoops of protein powder when i work out. Is that considered an overkill? I don't eat a lot of protein to be honest, other than eggs and chicken, and a bit of fish, so I think my protein intake is still moderate.

Yes, your bodyfat will all melt away if u eat all these stuff and strictly don't touch carbs. I eat less than 20g of carbs a day, and i've lost around 17kg. My wife totally doesn't exercise at all and has lost also the same amount. Exercise has little to do with bodyfat loss. Lose fats through diet. Build muscle through exercise. Muscle and fat have no direct correlation. I've seen plenty of muscular guys with a stubborn layer of fat on them. I was one. I loved exercise, but without diet, the fat covering will never go away. I posted my before and after pics in the distant past pages in this thread. But maybe not spectacular enough. Should see bro CBS. He went from fatty to Mr Muscle lol. I just went from Thick to Thin. Yes, from eating butter fried chicken no less LOL. Butter crab even more power hahaha

Pork has Niacin, which isn't found in many other sources, and studies have shown that Lamb is a good source of Omega3, even grain-fed lamb.

Mazdaowner Moderator September 19, 2010 Share September 19, 2010 Dropping weight is ok, as working to failure, But doing this manner, where the positive lift AND negative is BOTH important as well as proper form. Waste of time, let these go fark themselves, Why even bother.
Chickenbackside 1st Gear September 19, 2010 Share September 19, 2010 (edited) I am happy for you, yet pretty shocked at the same time ahaha. I can understand that we do not need as much protein as claimed by those protein manufacturers. I don't eat a lot of protein to be honest, other than eggs and chicken, and a bit of fish, so I think my protein intake is still moderate. Put it this way, diet alone helped me reach 63kg. I now weigh close to 70kg, and that is purely because of exercise. If I didn't exercise, I would still be 63kg. How do I know that? When I was 63kg, my pant size was 30" and my shirt size was size S. Now that I am near 70kg, my pant size is 28" and my shirt size is M on my upper body and XS on my waist section. All the while, I eat the most fatty stuff (good fat like grass fed beef, salmon, pork belly, coconut milk...) I can find to stay slim. If I eat more protein than fat, I will put on weight 1 week later. As for my health markers and blood tests, my doctor was astounded as he has never in his career seen such reversal, even with the help of medication. As for carbs, I don't even need to try. My whole life, I have eaten a low fat, high carb diet. The result? I have been fat for almost 40 years, not to mention always HUNGRY. The 2 years that I did the opposite, I became the leanest I have ever been in my life, plus I am always FULL. It was effortless. And nope, I don't go to the gym for exercise (except for when I travel, I use hotel gyms). But I can probably outdo most people in dips and pullups and burpees and single legged squats. The science behind it has been abundantly covered in the thread, so we don't need to go into it again. They got ego problem ah? How you tell? From the blog or video ah? I've met and trained with some of them before - don't have such thing. Those videos are FORM CHECKS for olympic lifting and deadlifts - not for hao lian purposes. No comments on the kettlebell thing though. And re your comment on negatives, how do you negative when you do a clean? The motive is NOT hypertrophy. IThunk u go into other forum challenge people to fight - when people ask you to meet them in competition, you back off like a bloody chee bai. Kene ban already do this sort of nonsense. I don't normally bother about this, but you come and pollute this forum with your nonsense too. Want to talk about training (WHICH YOU NEED), diet (WHICH YOU LACK) etc feel free to do so. But don't come in with your farking smear campaign. KNN. Others - sorry for the sidetrack. Will be my last post on this issue. Chickenbackside 1st Gear September 19, 2010 Share September 19, 2010 http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum/showt...3534#post183534 Hey guys... some updated pics. I'm proud to say I reached my end of summer goal of 200 lbs. a bit early. I started at 360 lbs. back in Nov. 2008 and weighed in at exactly 200 this morning! Nov. 2008 - 360 lbs. June. 2010 - 215 lbs. Today - 200 lbs. (I need a shave too - sorry! ) P.S. - I'll get some more current pics and full body shots up soon when I find someone to take them of me. It's tough taking them yourself. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/forum/showt...3624#post183624 Thanks hutax! No doubt, I'm a completely different person. hdizzle99... I follow the Primal lifestyle and philosophy in many ways because I believe in it and agree with Mark on how we are genetically designed to exist. Where I personally differ is that I am 100% carnivore and do not eat anything other than meat, fat and water. ↡ Advertisement
