[laugh] I wouldn't know. I think they would gang up and try to take down an injured large animal. Or use explosive strength to run away, climb up trees. Maybe chase women? [laugh]

I have bad news.

Just discovered today I have a lump on the outside of my anus. I think it is an external hemorrhoid about one cm in size.

I think it could be a lack of fibre for the diet I am thinking. Mostly meat. fatty stuff and a bit of fruits and youghut.

I may have to add quite a bit of fibre into my diet and so far I can only think of guava and vegetable.

[:(]

Dunnoe whether the lump will go away on its own .............. dreading a surgey.

Sounds like you're eating too much protein. Remember it's high fat, MODERATE protein and low carb.

I had one episode exactly like you when I 1st started. After I increased my fat intake and decreased my protein intake, it went away and my stools have been better than ever.

Soft but comes out as one, floaty, not much resistance. Feels "complete" after.

hmm, i eat less fat and more protein than you, maybe 60% fat, 30% protein? But i have no poop issues....i think it's hard to go above 30% protein...very full as protein is more bulky than fats.....so maybe Piyopico is simply not drinking enough water? See the pics of my steaks and roasts, i can't imagine anyone eating more protein than me LOL

I drink a few cups of dilute tea everyday.

I probably still eating the least fats compared to most of you here. I do take my usual proportion of veg. And I drink lots of water.

No issue with bowel movements [:p]

Yup, fluids are an important factor I forgot to mention in my diet.

I drink around 3 litres of water a day on average and on top of that, I drink green tea from the moment I wake up til 6pm everyday. I'd guess I easily drink 8-10 cups of green tea per day.

I have no doubt that helps my bowel movement too.

Pu'er should not be drunk on an empty stomach, according to the tea experts in Yunnan, when i bought some there. But it's apparently good for losing weight lol

Thanks. Ya, I didn't just mean to ask CBS, but also rest of us here, can provide your feedback and experience so far.

I've been taking vitamin supplements for years. So I must say, they do generally work. I'm still taking the same supplements since started this.

Multi-B complex, separate C, E, ginko and omega-3 are my staple for more than 20 years. [:)]

Bro, I am not on your kind of diet but sometimes I feel lethargic before an exercise session as well. I will still do the whole session but most times, it is only 75% effective. My experience is mostly due to insufficient calorie intake before my session, mostly because I may be too busy to really eat well an hour before the session.

I used to take all of the supps you mentioned above but I have stopped the E and ginko. I have to say the ginko is really effective for my memory. I like my B vits (Berroca which also contains C vit, cheaper like this). It gives me an energy boost for most of the morning but to get the most out of it, I need food in my stomach first.

I'm a bit ashamed to say it, but yes, they are erm, on the expensive side. Please don't judge me!

Chang's good but a little expensive for regular meals for regular Joes like us. They really bbq the meat well.

By the way, I just discovered Ayam brand has an "Extra creamy" coconut cream. The colour is brown and the fat content is 1bout 26%. It taste even better than the normal ones. Same price but so farI have only seen it at Cold Storage Compass Point(Seng Kang).

I bought it last night - comes in brown tetra pack and I found it at Shop and Save (Bukit Gombak) for just S$0.80 each

Also bought a few tins of the normal green Ayam tin for S$1.15 (or was it S$1.35) each...hahah

Haven't had the chance to try them yet though

Then what about those Brazilian BBQ places?

They serve a sh1tload of meat there although I must admit I love their grilled pineapple (big no no now I guess)...

Hmm...not a big fan of Korean BBQ in Singapore as I find those here aren't up to the standard of the ones I had in Korea...

Maybe I should give Chang a try [:)]

Chang's owner was from korea so hopefully it is authentic tasting. i have never been to korea before so cannot comment on the authenticity. be prepared to foot approx $80 per pax for dinner.

Yummy, but as with any instance of eating out, there's sugar and MSG everywhere. It's how they get their meat to taste so good.

The thing I like about "authentic" Korean BBQ is there are some cuts of meat on the menu that are not marinated, or are minimally marinated with salt and pepper.

on the low-carb forum, there's much arguing over grain-fed vs grass-fed beef. Seriously, i don't see what's the hoo-ha over grass-fed beef....paying so much for so little benefit (i'm only considering health benefits, not the taste).

Just eat less grain-fed beef and eat more oily fish to top up the omega-3 fats vs the omega-6 fats, and the prob is solved. Salmon is much cheaper than grass-fed beef!

Anyway, those who know about the food industry, know how unscrupulous they are, even in supposedly higher-standards angmo countries. I won't be surprised some of the "grass-fed" beef is actually not what they seem to be. The moment the animal is killed and put in the display, u can't tell the difference until u cook n eat it, by then which u already paid the money lol
