the c180 is a sporty sedan even if its considered to be rather "slow" but some but its enough for a spirited drive at times more so than a 320i.

The C-class interior is impeccable. In my opinion better than any other in the segment due to the arrangement and neatness.

Yes you can use 95 ron petrol.

Hallo, Did your tuner cheated U on the MTM upgrade?

Thought after MTM Stage 1 should have bumped the stock 211 hp to 270hp? [drivingcar]

Yup, we're probably of similar vintage.

Been through 'em all: Merc, Lexus, Audi, BMW, and now back to Merc again.

IMHO, from a sum-of-all-parts standpoint, they are untouchable, both real and perceived.

Well I thought of a E-class recently but the powerplant is so puny... but road tax friendly though. [laugh]

THe thing about merc is that only the base models will do well in resale. THose higher spec ones always sell at a huge loss. Of all Merc cars, the ML350 is really sweet. [laugh]

But why even consider the E200 or E250 CGI with a puny 1.8L 4-pot TC engine?

Get the E300 with a 3L V6 NA, for long-term, reknown Merc reliability.

IMHO, that's the real start of a 'true' Merc model ... none of these new FI engines lah.

Yes the E300 would be the one... but at those insane price, I would take the 535 or 730 liao. [laugh]

I won't touch any of the new BMW models now ... not at their insane rock-bottom OMVs.

In the end, we the buyers will lose on resale depreciation, regardless of how one argues about BMW-PML transfer pricing.

Used car dealers only look at residual OMV + COE + body value. If your car's OMV is super low to begin with, their offer/quote will be low. There are no two ways about it!

So, if its gonna hurt my pocket bad enough - eventually, I'd stay away from buying any BMW. Thank you, PML.

Definitely....

I checked with PI for the 523, they are offering around 190k which is not far away from PML selling price. OMV is also a low 40k... think better drive my car until scrap. [laugh]
