It's also about the feel and sincerity, do you feel better internally wearing a real rolex or a A grade Fake one?

Both also can.

I wear casio can already.

From what I know, it cannot be discerned from a distance. Even up close, it takes an expert to really tell the difference with the correct tools. Basically, the situation has degenerated into it depends who is wearing it like the Rolex and LV issue.

when it comes to such things, it's always, " you can fool others but not yourself"

becos it's for self actualization.

if it's fake, deep down inside one will never be satisfied.

why cheat oneself?

right or not?

Liew...sad....thought I could save a pile. [laugh]

Assuming E colour, VS1 clarity, triple 3E,

Synthetic: $135.00 USD

Real: $2000.00 USD

But yellowish can push to human oils coating the diamonte right?

Bring to jeweller clean up, good as new! [laugh]

Then I salute you, you have reach the stage of self actualization and being comfortable in your own casio shoes, but for a lady, I think the ring is very important as it speak volumes of how much the guy care for her, even if you are just a clerk earning 2k a month and buy her a 4K ring, it will mean more than a table wiper earning 38K a month and buying her a 30K ring.

If a person needs a diamond ring for self-actualization, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the whole thing. But yes, it does happen. [laugh][laugh]

Spot on!

But having said that, people will have to consider other factors as well like mortgage, car and kids.

congrats bro!

how about going to yuen tung? they got GIA cert diamonds and sell cheaper than retails. i got recently a 0.60 carat, colour D, VVS2, cut is excellent (standard 56cuts).

BS on the proposal ring have to be x times of monthly pay. What are you going to get for the wife in future for the anniversaries? i getting mine less than month pay, its your sincerity that counts.

it happens all the time in varying degrees especially in mycarforum.

might not have to be with a diamond ring but with other things, situation, event...

perhaps your understanding of "self actualization" and mine, differs?

While i did say that money is better spent elsewhere

a ring or a memorable item is definitely better than just meaningless money.

unless you really keep the coke can ring and bring it out after 20 years to admire and reminisce, you are begining to sound just like 90% of most singapore women... always about the money money money....
