Vt04boys Neutral Newbie December 29, 2011 Share December 29, 2011 My ride's on Sumitomo HTRZ-III, 225/45/18. Traded in the stock ones at 50 each. Probably not the best trade-in deal nor the performance tires around... but well tested with my previous car, and still good enough for how I drive. ↡ Advertisement

Pachelbel 1st Gear January 8, 2012 Share January 8, 2012 Is VW Jetta a worthy comparison, or simply not within the radar, considering that it's about the same price? Please share your thoughts.
Vt04boys Neutral Newbie January 10, 2012 Share January 10, 2012 (edited) you should be think Mk VI? More trim options than previous model, so u're need to compare closer to "like for like". u can get quite a bit of info on the Jetta from the VAGSG forum. i can only offer a personal comparison between the K5 and Jetta MkV Sport..., based on what I have. But it may not be relevant for MkVI. In terms of "worthy"..., technically any comparison between/among rides can be "endless" and also subjective. Think first you have to define what are your main needs for a car to narrow the areas to compare. Edited January 10, 2012 by Vt04boys

TropicalRed Neutral Newbie January 28, 2012 Share January 28, 2012 KIA K5 KIA K7 Hmm .... K5 looks better to me. I second that and preferred K5. However, K7, had a very Executive looks. Just like when I purchase my Camry, my eldest son told me so old fashion car. Told me that I should consider Honda Accord instead. Anyway, it is my personally preference for K5. SnowPrince Clutched February 26, 2012 Share February 26, 2012 range from 8.5 ~ 9.5 km/l, 60% city/40% highway. Driving up north can clock 12km/l. There is an owner that can clock 680km per full tank in local driving, that is more than 11km/l..... nexen tyres are noisy, replaced with quiet tyre will cut down the road noise. I clock 720km on 62litre petrol, so works out to be 11km/litre. 50% highway, 50% city. I think not bad, really for a car of this size.
SnowPrince Clutched February 26, 2012 Share February 26, 2012 I think the article at http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/article.php?AID=5279 refers to the flagship KIA model K9.
