So_nice 6th Gear July 13, 2010 Share July 13, 2010 suspension problem? i think like quite normal leh. especially for big humps. u might wanna check for leaks or uneven height of ur ride. or maybe tyre not enough pressure. :)
SimonTan 2nd Gear July 13, 2010 Share July 13, 2010 I think its unbalanced could be due to the driver is too heavy. Time to change the damper I guess, since it cannot control the bounce and rebound of the spring.

Gurus, pls advice, thx. try humping.....er bumping your car and if it stops immediately means ok...if it oscillates and takes time, then get a mech to check your suspension

Sky61 1st Gear July 13, 2010 Share July 13, 2010 if i'm not mistaken, are u referring to the steering wheel shuddering left and right when u go up the hump? If yes, then i'm guessing that u have lowered ur ride wif aftermarket coilovers. Not enuff suspension travel may cause such issues as it affects the suspension gemetery of the roll centre of the car, causing bump steer. A set of roll centre adjusters might help. Tie rods ends have roll centre adjuster properties too, u can check out moonface japan or ikeya formula.
