Wait a minute....

He came from a rich family.....the big land at the top of the hill....Alkaff Mansion??

Sometimes with the hindsight of having rich parents, the second generation will more likely to take risk and really do the things he feels like.

Just like that art movie director, Khoo something. With money backing, lots of things can be experimented.

Most simgaporeans are stuck in the high price bank loan, and fear of losing their job.

How many can dare to realize their dreams like Moe and Khoo did.

I wished I have rich parents like that Shaw bro guy who was interviewed on straits times last week about about his pirus car and him riding bicycle to work to help the environment, etc.

Well said, well said. So much about work and money, forget about life. This is how the society has mould us up. We are always encouraged to give birth to the population but the rest, our leaders just heck care. So much so that, children these days got no childhood memories. So young and they are being forced to be competitive, go tuition, enhancement class, dancing, etc... Poor thing... In Singapore, everyone just care about ourselves...

What a pity... Singapore always wanted to stay competitive, aims to be first but in the end, it still fail because people has become more mind dead... Why not aim to be first in good culture, graciousness, more giving? Successful? Yes in Singapore term as long as money is concern, the rest Singapore failed badly...

our education system very stiff meh? I think it's not stiff enough.

Singaporeans have always been whiners. When i was in school 2 decades ago, people were already lamenting on "how competitive" and "how tough" and "how sad children have no childhood" rubbish. Most of us grew up fine, at least for me, i still got to play with neighbourhood kids. My flat is right beside a playground and i see children playing everyday. Who say they have no childhood?

Only know how to complain and lambast the system when u cannot make it.
