Stupid jam outside paragon

I just got trapped in the traffic for like 30mins. both to and fro getting to takashimaya.

 

The stupid cars trying to get into paragon car park is like taking up 2 lanes and so this causes a jam for the people trying to get into CTE. and this jam causes a Jam for people trying to get into takashimaya and all the way back to the cairnhill exit of CTE.

 

It is crazy. worse is that there are two traffic police doing nothing, looking at the jam outside paragon......

 

Why they don't do something about the traffic outside paragon????? crazy lah, when stupid drivers block up the middle lane. They should put a divider so middle lane cannot turn into paragon...

During rush hour, that road is like dat one.

The 2 fellas dunno whether from TP, LTA or Certis. Their purpose there is not to direct traffic but to catch cars that alight passengers b4 the entrance along the double yellow zigzag lines. They just take down licence plate nbrs and wl send love letters to the owners later.

Got some good, reasonably priced food Paragon.

 

The coffee in Cova (expensive place, but just coffee + pastries is ok) is still the best I've had in Singapore.

they alight anywhere they want and let the chauffeur stuck in the jam

For some reason a lot of drivers go there for lunch. Dan the carpark so cramp and so small, entrance situated so near the traffic lights. Best is to avoid the place.

it's like that lah. jam everyday but i like to go paragon on sunday. park there 3 hours only $3+. compare to takashimaya, wisma or ion considered cheap.

Wah.. I was so happy that there is no jam at my office (buona vista exit from AYE) due to children's day. So that's where all the parents brought their children to!

 

On a more serious note, so many places are jammed, (e.g. ecp exit to parkway, aye exit to nuh etc), elites at LTA must be sleeping, must have upgraded to heli instead of driving or taking public transport. :angry:

You went there during lunch time?

The other time to avoid is 5-7pm.

The other problematic location is centrepoint.

There was a BIG tour bus stopped outside paragon when I passed by at about 3pm, causing a stupid bottleneck, right up to takashimaya spiral ramp.

i alwaz park at paragon on Fri nites or Sat/sun without much problem.... i rather suffer a bit of jam entering, but once u exit, its a breeze cos usually there will be a guard there helping to stop the cars for u to exit... but this guard only there on peak days like fri n sat..... once exit paragon it is straight to CTE liao..... copmared to parking at taka which is an absoulte nitemare, made worst by cars exiting from ION, all jammed in a one lane road...

 

To enter the carpark, go to the middle lane... cos the left lane is forever jammed with taxis as they queue up to the taxi stand infront... dun worri the taxi will not block the entrance, they will stop behind the entrance....

 

Either the guard there allow only say 3 taxis in the stand, and tell the rest of the taxis not to wait along the left lane. but alot of taxi drivers v stubborn n want to queue/wait on left lane...

 

if the middle lane cannot turn into carpark, then cars who want to park at paragon will hav to wait for a long long time for the cabs infront of him to clear.... unless there r alot of people waiting for cabs..
