Citroen C4 Picasso

Touran will be more expensive. I saw the price of picasso to be 121xxx which is consider cheap relative to 3 months ago, then COE is also cheaper now. Touran will be at Cat B coe and the current model is retailing at 124xxx. In term of looks, touran is much nice and interior should also be more economic and practical. French is about styling but pretty unrealistic at times.

Honestly, you will seldom use park assist. Most of my friends who have it do not use it. You park faster than the system itself. Agree, xenon/led light is missing which is a pity. 3D tail light is nice and modern.

Unless the touran is much more expensive, picasso is not too bad an idea given its current price and upcoming pricing. If you need spacious cabin, picasso is the one to go for at compact mpv class. Else Sharan, oydessy etc are the one if you ferry more than 5 pax frequently.

The THP engine has plenty of pull and quick but you lose fuel efficiency of a diesel. Citroen service executive will tell you the car will/may experience more electronic failure than the powertrain......

Test drove the new Grand Picasso. Very torquey & gear change is smooth. Pity that features like Park Assist, halogen headlights & 3D tail lights are removed. Is the rim down-sized from 17" to 16"? Otherwise, I would have booked the car. Eager to see the new Touran before deciding. Meanwhile, hope that COE will soften further.

Engine is the same? But it is of a different tune. The horse and torque are different in figure.

7DSG, lightning fast in shifting, is problem free finally, I quote VW SE. hahah......

Certain model of BMW is going back to normal torque convertor if you notice... same as Mazda as their design reckon DCT is jerky at carpark/traffic jam speed which make the car ride uncomfortable. Though it is the characteristic of DCT but not many will like it. I read from this forum that only BMW M series are using DCT as M series need the speed. THus, DCT does offer it advantage.

blue hdi is 16 inch rim

first batch e-hdi got 17 and those funky stuff, which some u dont really need imho (3d taillamp)

only diff b/w new n old touran is MBQ chassis, engine / gearbox still same, 7 speed dry problematic clutch

Neutral Newbie

Price of G.Picasso dropped cos they removed some of the features (as claimed by SE) & declined COE. But at least the gear box has been improved. Price last week was $122k w/ n-guaranteed COE & $127k for guaranteed. Only $127k package c/w 5yr free maintenance. Pricing was indeed attractive.

Does the petrol variance c/w park assist & the 3D tail light?

It does come with 3D light which is futuristic looking. I yearn for xenon light but too bad, it does not come with one. No park assist.

I will change out after warranty is over.

Yes... can you believe it??? It is just like BMW is using all low tech to market their cars cheaper and easier to sell,.

How much can xenon light cost? I rather they do away with their HU than better lighting system.

Sometime, thing is more reliable using old techology. At least when using Halogen, my car does not ever change its bulb until scrap:)

and moreover its cheaper to replace when compared to HID.

Though i prefer better brightness over the pros of using halogen.

should ask them what do they mean by maintenance free.

It could mean, it (ATF) does not require maintenance until GB piang or ATF totally degraded. Anyway, ATF are all maintenance free since nobody will add any potion at regular interval into it.

It could also mean, free of maintenance until up lorry, then change new GB / car.

u can take the salt , only thing i would use salt for is make crispy crackling pork belly

u can use only atf that meets Aisin AW-1 spec, this is even higher spec than type WS, its specially formulated for high torque low viscocity,

my recommendation is 30k atf change

u can choose to believe what they tell u or toyota gb no need change atf for life....or u can look thru all my posts and believe my expertise

:)

not really

few others got

Fuch ATF 4400 meet the spec

usually only eu brands have, in big countries...

u can use the equivalent cross part num oem from volvo / gm / saab..etc that also use this gb
