If Car B overtake infront of Car A at a safe distance it's quite ok.. But if Car B swerve infront of Car A in less then 1 car length, Den i could understand y Car A highbeamed.

no.. i disagree.. Car A in the first place should give way.. extreme right is only for OVERTAKING lane!! if behind car is travelling faster than u... pls give way

i disagree too. cause switching lane with less than 1 car lenght can still be done safetily.

No. Make this as the LED display!

If Car A sees from his rear mirror, it should look like this...

[ <---- SLOW!! ]

Hahaha! Yep, remember someone complaining about a Cefiro with this sign and that it was damn rude! But I still salute the Cefiro driver who had that sign. Haha!

In the scenario given by TS, WTF is Car A high-beaming and horning about?!? I've had this happen to me before as well, I was like WTF is this guy trying to do?! Get off lane 1 you lame sob!

I know he is at fault, but you might not know whether he have baby or old folks onboard. Just overtake safely and speed off. Forgive and forget.

i think we miscom here. i agree with you. i disagree with the sentence of needing to be ahead of 2 car lenght before moving back to lane 1.

Car B should wind down windows and use middle finger to feel the wind speed... for better effect, do it with some saliva to get the visual effect.

Car B should only feels guilty if Car A is still hogging the 1st lane and too far to see Car B's encouragement for Car A to speed up.

Concurred! I also disagree with needing to be 2 car lengths ahead before cutting back in. If I'm frustrated enough with the hogger, I'll purposely cut back in like a MAD driver to piss the hogger off! -_-

Hi all,

Wanna know whether this is considered safe overtaking:

1. At lane 1, Car A in front is traveling at around 90~100 and there is wide gap in front (about 5~6 cars length).

2. Car B behind Car A wanted to overtake.

3. So Car B, move to Lane 2 and overtake Car A at Lane 1 easily without even stepping on brake. Turn Right signal was given.

4. Car A then high beamed and horned at Car B persistently.

So Should Car B feel guilty?

Regards,

Do you want us to believe Car B speeding to overtake Car A is driving in orderly manner?

Twincharged

I feel that car B is not wrong. However if u follow the 2 second rule then by right car A is also not road hogging. Cuz for every 10km/h should leave 1 car length. Since car A was travelling between 90-100km/h he should be leaving a gap of 9-10 cars whereas his gap was already smaller than that. lol. But I guess no one in singapore follows this.
