SPC vs Shell

The problem with SPC is the discount is based on your previous month spending, so if you switch to another brand for this month, when you go back to SPC the next month, your SPC&U discount drops to 5%. [:(]

you haven't been keeping yourself updated with SPC.. For several months is 10% for SPC&U card regardless of your previous month spending. And another 5% if you use POSB everday card. and finally a 5% rebate on the final price.

Already test-drove two tankful of Octane95 petrol: SHELL, CALTEX, ESSO-MOBIL. Now staring with SPC. Before end of the month I would know which better for my car (so far 1km/L difference among them already)

I'm thinking the variance because of traffic could cause such a difference? What's that term,... "statistically insignificant?"

The newly opened SPC Seng Kang Station is giving $2 voucher for every $30 of petrol in addition to the 15% discounts and 5% rebates on nett purchase. The promotion still going on till end of Nov.

this is clear-cut.

SPC (for now, since it's discount is best/among the best).

performance nv bothers me, unless i'm in bolehland, i'll then go for veepower! [:p]

I assume the average FC with two tankful to be adequate results for the same route/time

Personal opinions. Me riding bike and drive sometime.

SPC 98 - softer comfy ride. FC slightly higher. Better discount (if you clocked 15% qouta + 5% cash rebate if you are using POSBank Everyday card).

V-Power - Always my fave gaso, aggressive ride, faster response esp when doing the quick shifting. Higher price to pay, better mileage.

If you are not those really make precise calculation, V-power is actual preferred choice. Given the response from the engine smoother in transition, these are priceless to many poeple. Of course i cannot discount those people who actually don't require those plus factors but only want to see better saving in price.

So far lately has been on SPC98...comparsion wise i find generally the engine seems to rev louder as compared to if i m using Caltex.

But overall FC seems okay to me..
