Mazda 6 Standard doesnt have the headup virtual display right?

Nope, it doesn't. But it's a "good to have", not a necessity. If you've been driving all these years a car without a HUD, you probably will find it more a convenience than a necessity.

But once you have it, it will become a necessity.

Hi L23,

Indeed ... bsm and lane departure display not needed cos audio is betta but speed limit and nav displayed are very useful.

Cheers.

Supercharged

For those who use the Papago GoSafe 360 dashcams that were installed by TEK in earlier Mazda 6 models, may I check whether you hear click click click (yes, exactly 3 clicks) sound coming from your front dashcam the moment it is powered on? I used to hear the clicking once in a while when switching on the dashcam, but recently it seems to emit the 3 clicks every time it is powered on, though it still functions as usual otherwise. The clicking sounds like a camera's shutter opening and closing in quick succession, even though there is no shutter in front of the lens. The sound does not bother me as it is rather faint and is emitted only at the moment the dashcam is powered on, but should I be concerned that the dashcam may be failing soon, so that it's time for me to start sourcing for a replacement? Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks Richard for the clarification cause i got my exec model because of the understanding that the std did not have, and i was quite a fan of the HUD.

Thought i read wrongly and the standard model had the HUD, then could have gotten that at a better price.. your price was fantastic for the std model.

Want to try how the ride feels with 19 inches rim.

If feel too bumpy or too bad fc,can change back to 17 rim with less cost.

If go aftermarket 19 inches rim, properly cost a lot more when selling off.

go for Jap wheels for Mazda 6 [thumbsup]

Jap wheels like Enkei, SSR? I am noob about rims.

I using OBD plug in to deactivate i-stop, bought it from TB.

When engine start, wait for 2 Sec, I-stop will be deactivated.

The original I-stop botton still able to use as normal.

The OBD not work sometimes, once a week or 2 weeks I would say. Then press the I-stop myself.

Hi Selan and bros

Received the disable stop/start module with added hazard light function per link and tried 5 times to confirmed working for my FL Nov 2018 mazda 6.

However, pls note auto hazard lights only works when engine is off when doors open .. and it also does not work when reversing which is preferable but still good for sgd60 to me with crucial disable stop/start function working.

Cheers.

Like what Richard posted, the Mz6 Executive does have a bevy of features that really give some of the lower-end contis a good run for their money, even outclassing some of them.

So it really depends on what you want/ need.

If you want a solid, well-built family sedan for point A to point B, without bells and whistles and you are supremely confident in your driving skill, then the Mz6 Standard is hard to beat in terms of value for money.

You will then need to think if the 8k top-up is worth it for the features you'll be getting. In my humble opinion, it is definitely worth it.
