1) Does not come with sub - can install active sub.

4) I am driving the wagon with stock 19" (225/45) using PS4 - comfortable and quiet ride, maybe becoz the tyres are quite skinny and PS4 is made using a very soft compound.

Forgot to mention that I installed my active sub at Soon Lee Audio (https://g.co/kgs/v4HYoL) - $300-500 depending on the size of the sub.

19” rim no regret, nicely fitted look. 

For 2017 2.5L - fuel consumption is consistent at 8.0L/100km, at least for city and highway 30/70. 
 

Comfort is non-existent, you feel every rock, hump, stone, but that’s why it is an engagement drive/car 🤣 Sound wise no impact for me, 19” is perfectly fine. 
 

I consider myself a very heavy footer, lowest is 9.0L/100km with more than 50% city drive or short distance drive. 
 

Anything 10L and above means too much idling with engine on.

@R32 Thanks. I saw the CX8 with custom sub fitted nicely within the spare tyre. Wonder why M6 Bose don't come with one??? SA do not know where i can get that either.

Yes, i will certainly get a battery pack for the camera. Don't want to drain the main batt too much.

Strangely, M6 come in standard 17 while M3 18??? There must be a reason they down size the rims with the engine lowered from 2.5 to 2.0. Too bad, no option for 2,5 in M6 now unless i go with the wagon.

Any recommended shop that i can get my rim change or trade in?

IMO 19 is the perfect rims size for this car. But the 2.0 engine certainly extend drags to the ride.

Yes, just added the Pioneer active sub under the passenger seat - fitted it 3 years ago, so far no problems but I felt I should have gone for the larger sub.

Thanks, certainly will. Bigger sub also depends on its size. Some will protrution towards the rear passenger leg room.

now, just have to wait to see if can secure coe.

The extra power that 2.5L does for me, is for slope, and maximum passengers. If for racing, better get GTI. 

If you drive alone or 2 pax - in my opinion, 2.0L is sufficient to manage 19”.

19” = no looking back

17/18 = will keep thinking about the 19” when you see one.
 

Like my neighbours both of them 17” but with max passenger always and 2.0L, they have to settle for a more comfortable and efficient drive. 
 

Petrol wise = cost nothing when you purchase this segment’s car. Even at current petrol price, it will be a maximum of 30% on top of your normal fuel usage (additional $150-$250 per month).

Hi,

1. No sub .. any half decent audio shop can install an active one for you and yes, it will make a positive impact but set high pass it 90-100hz and turn gain down till you do not hear it. You wun want cai qin to sound like louis armstrong 😅

2. No AD will recommend 24/7 parked recording cos associated issues. Would advise getting extra dvr designated battery if so wish which AD will not do else it is just like leaking current to your battery that affects its longevity even if you can set voltage limits. 🙏

Not into non-stock 19" rims/tyres for my mazda 6 in consideration of FC and comfort ... hence cannot advise. Frankly my 2.0 version is great on FC at 7l/100km vs my forester xt at 7km/l but it is a slow starter oreli and 19" will simply be more unacceptable on pick up. In addition, mazda 6 suspension is hard in comparison to same class and hence the excellent roadholding .. 19" with less rubber and presumably wider tyres to look fierce* and improve roadholding further (typical functional and not only aesthetic reason) will certainly make your ride even harder i.e. more harsh i.e. less comfortable.

19 inch would only look nice if there was a big brake kit filling the space inside the rim. 

The stock 19 inch rims are 14.5kg, I swapped for flowformed 18 inch rims that were 8kg. Sure, the wallet was lighter but I got better performance, fuel economy and ride comfort. 

Win-win-win all the way round.

Brakes better don't get Re-Con ones,you don't know the Re-Con Calipers using what Parts,also there are alot of fake Brembos around,putting your Life[Also Your Love ones],at stake...

@R32 good point. Most people choose rims based on aesthetics alone. Weight, material and source made usually neglected.

Can share any recommended shop to trade in rims/tyres? How much should i be looking at to upgrade to a set of 18 inch rims/tyres?
