Quirky 3rd Gear December 30, 2010 Share December 30, 2010 (edited) Unlikely. This will mean a day of lost productivity for the entire country! Employers will be unhappy! Especially foreign ones, since they are unable to share in the happiness. They will consider taking their investment elsewhere. Who knows if the next Monday will suddenly become a public holiday again?! This will mean widespread unemployment. A lot of instability results. Increase in welfare requests. There will be burden on the remaining workforce. Widespread chaos. The government will be burdened with seeking additional investments, and providing social welfare! The country might collapse!!!! Fortunately, our present soccer team will have problem winning the Chery Cup. We are safe. if Singapore win, do u think our PM will do the same?
