I only use a few times on the cruise control in 2 years, find that Sg road traffic is not suitable to drive on cruise control.

I have tested car with paddle shift like Golf, Mz 3 n 6 and Civic with paddle swift, but I perfer to use the gear stick than paddle swift to down swift in sport mode for up slope climbing in expressway.

And my friend always leave the gear in sport mode all the time as the car can rev higher PRM before change gear.

How often you will use the paddle swift n Cruise Control on your steering wheel?

i dun have either feature on my car (poor man, money not enough, hehe), but i know a fren who stays in sengkang punggol area, and he always uses cruise control in KPE during non-peak hours, becos he scared of kenna speed camera but too bored to keep his foot on accelerator. [:p]

Paddle shift: 100% of the time [laugh]

Cruise Control: seldom as road hoggers always cause me to brake  and i seldom drive in the wee hours when traffic is clear

I have never use Shift Paddles, but use Cruise Controls alot, especially on ECP.

ECP is the best pl to use, not like SLE where many slope up down.

I do use paddle shift and gear stick everyday. I find gear stick shifting offer more control and assurance. For subtle speed change, I use paddle shift. I use S mode when moving off from traffic lights.

Cruise control seldom use. Only use it when I want to drive in a relax mode/manner [laugh]. Even on NSHW, since have the tendency to speed so cruise control also don't usually apply.

I wonder what will happen if we use cruise control to move up Gentings slope..have you tried?

My Jazz also has the high end paddle shift.

I seldom use it as its not necessary. The Auto gear set in 'S' mode will give the engine more power and can win many cars for traffic light sprint.

But its good to have paddle shift as it make my Jazz a very sporty car!

The engine will automatically accelerate/downshift to make up for the loss of speed when going up

It can be very dangerous at slope.

Its almost impossible to use cruise control in SG. With numerous road hoggers, traffic lights & traffic jam... Its really a pain in the ass to drive in SG!!!
