320 Convertible or XC60?

I am thinking of selling my camry and get one of these 2 cars.

Its just me and my wife. Sometimes ferry parents.

Which do you prefer? The feeling of driving in an open top or the feeling of driving in a nice SUV?

Dont depend on this or depend on that...just based on what you prefer.

I am having a hard time deciding.

My qns to you is have you ever own a convertible before?

If not, go for the 320 convertible.

At least own a convertible and have a feel of it... SUV can always come later...

(edited)

definitely the XC60 for me.

320 is grossly underpowered.

XC60 has above 200bhp.

very practical (i'm biased towards practical cars)

Volvo safety

A good blend between sedan and SUV

even sgcarmart official review can't find anything bad about it.

THATS BASED ON MY OPINION.

XC60

never...never even sat in one before.

thats why the thought excites me.

i see so many convertables with their top up. hardly see on that comes down...

i am just afraid the thrill of the open top car wears off quickly and then it just becomes a normal sedan 320.

and a sedan 320 is far less appealing than the xc60.

i have the privilege of driving my friend's MX5 when he's away on overseas posting.

maybe its me and my age, after a while, i don't even bother to retract the roof.

i just enjoy the handling and speed more of the MX5. Go fast and corner hard. exciting.

which do u prefer?

will u get sick of POWER or will u get sick of OPEN-TOP?

for me, i'm not a gaudy person, with the erratic weather and humid climate, i dare say i get sick of open top quicker.

I'll never get sick of power though.

of coz, it'll be easy to combine both.... get the 335 convertible.

but i do feel that u'r working with a constrained budget for both marques

Supercharged

convertible in Sg: good for smelling exhaust [:p]

but will feel fast with the wind in your hair even below speed limit,

and great for stargazing.

same, i like power. the more the better.

but somehow, i would not want a evo or wrx sti...i dont know how to explain it

sometimes, when i am a lazy mood, i want a comfortable solid conti feel ride

sometimes, i like heads turn to my convertible.

different mood, different desires...

i am sounding like a woman now man!

I'm with Mugan for this.. the experience of a convertible is something unique but wont be practical when u hv a family unless its a 2nd car. SUV anytime oso can own

totally agree.

6cylinder 2.5litre BMW engine is more like it for such a look.

the 2.0litre version can't even go faster than a koup 1.6 at a century sprint!

(due to heavier weight for a convertible)

I wonder how it feels during heavy downpour with thunder? or noon hours stopping at every traffic light?

Does the seat comes with cooler just as it comes with heater?
