Toyota still No. 1 with 1179 units registered up to March 2011. BMW a very close second with 1072 units registered. VW has replaced Merc as number 3 and Porsche is still on Top 10. Traditional better selling brands like Mazda, Suburu, Suzuki and Mit are "eating" grass.

Figures are taken off LTA website and based on car registrations by make.

WOW...BMW IS the Bread and butter car!!!!

Uniquely Singapore .... 4 out of the 5 top selling cars are conti and that include the three luxury brands in the world. If BMW can maintain the momentum and end the year as the NO. 1 Selling Car for the year. I guess, Singapore is the only country where BMW is the no. 1 selling car in the country. Gahment will have "face" .....

Looking at just march. Figure alone.

VW sold more cars than Toyota.

With the reduced japan car production, I think VW will be the number one this year!!

Can anyone explain where is the missing 1000 plus cars not registered in FEB??

What happen in FEB that cause the registration to be 1000less? CNY perhaps.

But then when will this 1000 missing COE be used?
