Ahhuat 1st Gear May 8, 2011 Share May 8, 2011 I believe in GE2006, only 47 out of 80+ seats are contested, those walkovers are counted as 100% PAP (correct me if I'm wrong). Thus, if walkovers (100% PAP) + contested seats (x% PAP) => 66.6% for PAP, then the votes ain't that rosy for LHL.. May be that's why when LHL know many seats will be contested, he said this will be a "freak" result? GE2011 has a very different competitive landscape. it gives me no joy to see only 6.5% reduction in support... Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
