sure or not, I 46 this year and I got my fair share of this leh.

And when you say sit on lap, I give you another 2 year ur kid will either block ur view when he on ur lap or yr leg will also buay tahan liao.

Just pay for another 1 2 years tat all lah [cool]

Ha, the trick is here. If the movie starts, where there's seat next to yours is not occupied, you can sit liao lor. [laugh][:p]

Turbocharged

Getting to the manager will not solve the problem. It is the system generally. This has to be changed.

ya.. if the manager is also inflexible (as i said.. i would have lost my appetite leow), just leave.. both sides happy. no need to talk too much..

and u mentioned sakura... actually, they're not that good anyway. i find their standard dropped a lot these days and still expensive.

better off spending somewhere else

Neutral Newbie

But I usually see that the short guys gets the chio gals

Have seen cases of short guys or rather not so thin guys' gf quite chio.. Thus have concluded if the guy have the gift of the gab i.e. can touch a gal's heart, he will have no prob scoring with the gal as they will be more emotional n ignore the visual part regardless of his height. Being tall just make things easier. But there r gals die die also want guys to be taller than them by a certain height.

Was at one restaurant along River Valley Rd yesterday. The charging is if you are taller than 1.4m, you have to pay adult fare liao. Something is really stupid in this type of criteria. With no disrespect to midget, can this adult be charged at children fare since they are short?

Depends on the wording. If it says children with height above 1.4M, then only children below 1.4M are entitled to children's price.

If it just says customer with height above 1.4M, then regardless children or adult...................... <_<

If they use age some ppl might see it as an age discrimination. I did post my comments in the 1st page.

okay seen that but i get your drift lah. whatever yardstick the establishment use, surely got some people who have axe to grind. well, you can't win them all! :D

Hao Lian! [laugh] [laugh]

Tall is good, esp in crowded places. No need smell other ppls' armpit. Nose above others and have better view too.

Used to paying full rate since young. Also dont like going cinema n the one behind u tell u to relax cos they cant see. [laugh]

It's just that TS gives me the impression that it shud be foc for kids. I be very happy if I'm a preschool teacher cos I will be able to bring my students for meals & dessert for free.

Oh btw calling the benchmark or criteria stupid but offering no suggestion does not make a person clever either. Like other ppl suggested, patronize other restaurants if you are not happy with their system.

Perhaps buffet restaurants shud put up a signage "no free lunch in this world". Put it just above the height requirement.

I am not looking for free meal but at least recognise by the age instead of height. As from my previous posting, I mentioned that nowaday kids are active and they tend to grow taller very fast. Besides, the food that we are eating also have "lots" of chemical in it. you would be surprised to see that some kids are actually P1 or P2 but they are taller than those in P4 or P5.
