For more than 10 years, Borders had really done a great service to the reading community, serving complementary role alongside NLB. It's time NLB bail Borders out. Alheych 6th Gear August 20, 2011 Share August 20, 2011 with the judicial manager disallowing vouchers and gift cards to be used at marine parade, i think marine parade is almost on the lorry already... one of my random memories of borders: there's always this very very long hair guy who sits on a sofa to read books. dunno if he's mentally ill, he never washes his hair and i can smell it every time he's in the shop, seriously, that's how bad he was. If they don't evolve then sure fade away. i agree... i got the Amazon Kindle.. the reading experience is just as good, if not better than reading the actual book.. and can save some trees too.
