Sure doesnt hurt to have a high profile voice for the ppl though

of course. that is why i say time had change and era had change.

Sounds gd. May the ruling party not redraw boundaries next GE as times have changed.

In my personal opinion, those support TJS, you are gambling away your precious vote. Even if he is going for GE, it does not guarantee that he will win.

 

However, in all the GE which TCB has competed, he never get below 70% voting before. Although he may not be the best candidate in your mind, he won't be the worst among the 4. Instead of supporting him, you just simply try to split his vote out from him. Any of you working in the hospitals? Do you know whom will the staff there vote?

 

Do you know what is the consequence of split vote out from TCB? In the end who will benefit from that? If that happen, thanks to those that vote JS.

Yet still got some daydreamers think the opp will win and form the government based on the rally turnout and netizens postings.

 

then when only hougang & aljunied was won by wp, these same netizens started crying foul at everybody, civil servants, elderly, selfish singaporeans who only wanted upgrading, the timids, 60.1% etc

 

come on, are these netizens so detached from reality to predict an opp victory in all contests?

 

for this PE, i feel that TT will win, TCB comes in 2nd. And my vote will be with either 1 of them and not TJS or TKL.

To be honest, I am quite disappointed by TCB.

 

His rally had lots of people giving testimonials over how nice he is - We already know that ... zzzzzzzzzz

 

Then the first thing TCB said was he play by the rules and he took great pains to make sure his rally posters do not contravene any laws. [speechless]

 

I started out supporting him but now I suspect he is going to follow in SRN's footsteps.

 

I don't want a Prez to anyhow rock the boat but I do want a Prez who has a pair of nuts. Said to say, TCB never really prove that in his rally.

 

So neither TCB or TJS really appeal to me. I will have to suck thumb and vote for whoever has more support.

 

The question is who??? [furious]

But if he acts funny then let him be sued, let him be impeached. We just elect another person.

Which forums did u see abt the predict results in GE? Probaby u go to the wrong forum... Most of them predicted Hougang n Aljunied to win and also the support rate for PAP to drop by a big margin... which indeed drop by 10% from 70+% to 60.xx%.

 

We all know that with the support from those working in the government services, army n police n also new SG citizens and spilitng of votes between the 3 other canindates... TT should win by a narow margin. If there are only 2 contestants between TT and another contestant... TT might lose..

 

Cry foul is one thing... but LOOK at the recent SAGA... PAP who lose the Hougang GRC try to play panks by going through back doors n deny the winner (WP) from accessing common facilities... NOW WHO IS THE SORE LOSER...? Can tell me or not

Go along with the 60% PAP wannabes and live to repent when PAP open more doors for more FTs to come... Think u have more gd years again? Dream on

It is not the same. Did you see my comment on "in all the GE which TCB has competed, he never get below 70% voting before?" If JS has such data to backup, then I agreed with you. That I why I mentioned "Gamble away the precious vote," because you are taking the risk based on someone declaration without justification proven by him. We need a wise Leader not a good saleman [lipsrsealed] Opps! I am making the same mistake by making such comment without justification like him.

 

I hope that you can understand what I am coming from but not blinded by hate with the ruling party. If JS has only data to back up...........

I agree. I mean how bad can TCB be when we judge him based on his past deeds and the ground sentiments from his ex-constituencies?

 

Not that TKL or TJS are bad but rather, the testament to a person's character and beliefs can be judged to a reasonable accuracy by his past actions over a long period of time.
