Thanks, basically when with my mum whom's contract incidentally can re-contract (dont use data at all). Will be getting the LG G Pro2. Really like the 6 inch screen. Did compare with the G3, but priorities were for the bigger screen. Not to mention, piority is for oc to monitor home's cctv & kids using the to play games, youtube when in car. So willing to forgo the slightly better cam/processing power of the G3.

Oh yes, my bro did recommend me the mobile square shop at far east plaza. !!

Good choice, I'm also using the LG G Pro 2. Battery life is comparable to Note 3, easily lasts a day. 5.9 inch screen is easy on the eyes. Like you, I compared with the G3, anticipating the day it was officially announced. But I realized that the G3 features I can live without (Ultra HD screen, laser focus camera). By the way, the G Pro 2 has a very good camera too.

And not to mention it costs less than Note 3, and looks less plasticky than Note 3.

I am not using Z3, the screen is not gorilla glass. It is made of tampered glass front and back. So need to be very careful not to drop the phone.

Overall Z3 is quite a good phone, quite responsive, most of the time I am able to get 4G network ( using starhub ), camera quality not bad.

Nexus 6 operation same as sony or other android phone right?

Nexus phonevare pure android , no fancy custom ui which blog down the phone, even my old nexus4 which I use occasionally feel very fast, sometimes even faster than my HTC m7... Actuaaly, after owning so many top end phone, my next phone should be mid range, not going to get the top.. After reading Asus zenfone 2 review , it seems like a good balance phone which meet my usage... This is the one which holding me from getting that damn expensive nexus6...

Actually still better than the fruit lah.

Just maybe I got a lemon or didn't do the setting properly this I lazy to find out.

The most when it auto off I just start playing with the hp and the wifi will reconnect back agn. Not a big issue.

U take note 4,wife like it.i got pink for her.

Now got gold colour too

If take note4 might as well get the edge one (same price as iphone)

But note 4 design so so to me

Oh ya forget to mention about battery life.

Z3 battery life is fantastic, full charge morning and average 3 to 4 hours of surf web, I still can get about 40% battery life left when I reach home from work at around 7pm. So technically it can last more then 1 days with light usage.

Edge is quite unique rather than note 4 but is both hp same spec?

Heard note 5 is in process, no note 4 for myself but note 5 might be for me.

Edge is more for style

I would prefer durable, fast and battery efficient phone

I have used Zenfone 6 for more than 6 months, and I would say it is really value for money. The OS was abit patchy at first, stuck with blank screen once a day, then got improved with frequent updates till very very stable now. Zenfone 2 should be better.

But one thing I learnt from owning this phone is that surely compromises have to be made somewhere as it is only 1/2 the price of normal fares. One significant area is the lack of noise cancellation microphones. The other line would sound abit noisy, and worse if the person tends to talk abit gibberish or very noisy environment. That is the prime reason I getting back to owning mid-range or high-range phones even though the zenfone 6 has served me very very well. Otherwise I hve nothing against it, almost being the perfect phone with galores of features. Even have automatic call recording feature which is outlawed in most countries. I would consider zenfone 2 or later variant if this issue has been addressed.

My contract will end in about 4 months time and I'm thinking of switching out of Apple.

Currently using the iPhone5S.

Any recommendations?

4mths is a long time in phone tech market.. Ask again in 3mths time should have more interesting suggestion.. What we suggest now would be 'old' obsoleting model by then... Hehehe..
