[laugh] Now, everyone here either get a fruit phone or Samsuck phone unlike in the 90's and early 2000.

 

Go to any Samsuck shops, there's always a long Q........ for everything and anything....

 

Go to a Nokia shop, it's empty with salespeople swotting flies.

 

 

I was recently offered a free Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 free with renewal of my Starhub contract but I forgot abt it n went on last day but all sold out so I missed the promo. [bigcry]

 

I hope ty going to offer me a better phone soon as a better promo. [nod]

 

Now I using the Galaxy Ace fr a couple of years already. Its a basic n good smart phone. [thumbsup]

Ace2 updated to 4.1.2 is really responsive and stable. Really a steal at $240 even if you buy retail.

I did on the last day telling them the phone was out of stock at all the places ty mentioned but ty said ty cannot extend the promo.

 

So I guess I wil just wait fr the next promo. I think it was a bit special cos with the letter the phone was totally free. Usually after the contract expire I can get a new phone but usually I hv to pay a bit of cash.

 

Anyway no prob cos I still hv my present Ace which is abt 2 yrs old n still going strong. :D

but, when I Chong sui at Rambutan hill, when outfield under pouring rain, Nokia was there. On frozen nights at the highland of New Zealand. Nokia was there, & I have never a Nokia fail me. [:p]

So there is a place for Nokia in my heart. Now that they make proper smartphone (which is a vastly understatement), so why not. Beside I cannot stand the small screen of iphone anymore.

 

Few years ago, no one wanted anything but apple, but looks what have changed now.

 

 

Hardware solid but SW alway problem. haha...The nokia service center was a nightmare but those were the day. Repair take 1 week sometime months

What phone u currently using? If its note. Just stick to note. If not u will find S4 screen too small. Note 3 coming soon.

im using the obsolete S2. hehe. seems like S4 price is holding firm. higher than note2.

It's a newer phone than note 2 with better spec. Note 3 is coming out.

 

Historically, newer note will be more expensive by newer S and vice VESA.

 

If u are using s2. I will suggest that u go for S4. At least if u want to abandon Sam sung. U will still have similar size phone to chose from.

not a fan of iphone. xperia z...im considering also. but off the top of my head...its those 2 samsung phones.

 

xperia z is just not very good.

 

i found another irritating thing about it yesterday. It can't charge in my car using a 12V USB adaptor!

(after googling, have to buy a special Sony AN401 car charger)

Now i have to check if my powerbank can charge it.

If not i have to ditch it before my ICT next year. WTF <_<

 

seriously i won't bother with any sony phones from now on.

Not that it's lousy. It's just nowhere as good as samsung.
