Really? Bought it new for almost 15k

Its oyster perpetual date

My mom bought one and once i earn money, i will not only buy watches for myself but also buy for my mom... Maybe u shud buy ur dad a grand carrera

That's what they put on the watch but I believe it's the yachtmaster la, anyway still a good watch so take care of it, as for my dad, no point la, I gave him one and not the carrera of course because it's too yuppie and he still wear his old watch and refuse to wear mine.

Actually they got white screen one but i end up choose blue

U shd go Rolex website to learn more.

Oyster perpetual is a generic name, not model of the watch.

The one u got is the yatchmaster

I believe any good independant watch shop can do an el primero which is a very common chrono movement.

but isnt it always better to go back to agent? price a bit higher of course.

you mean totally cannot move?

for the movement to stop working, it is usually the mainspring that has broken.

Yep totally cannot move. I can see the balance wheel and it looks locked. The power reserve says full. If I wind it I can feel the tension on the mainspring. I have no idea about these movements.

I think AD is the first choice but since I don't know the industry very well, I thought I'd seek some advice first.

Nope. Only chrono. Pushing the buttons did not help.

as what you said, with the wheels locked

maybe your watch suffered a shock and the gear train was dislodged.

however, i wouldnt expect that to happen becos the watch should have a shock resistant mechanism.

did you drop it or subject it to impact?

sorry, i dont know any shop that can specifically do zenith but i believe most good shops can as mentioned. parts also should be big problem.

however, i would just send back to agent if i were you.

Today my RM from Stand Chart came to look for me, wow, he wearing a Rolex Sub Ceremic Bezel with Maxi Dial, looks nice, looks bigger than the previous Sub, does anyone knows if it is 42 or 40mm? I believe it's 40mm and just an illusion, he told me he bought it resale for 8K.

something i learnt again ==> maxi dial

and went google for it

but all sub are 40mm

you got your sub C right? previously GMT II right?

can share your views on the 2 watches?

The newer gen uses the super case. Its slightly bigger at the lug area.
