Yup, luv it especially the sandwich dial [nod]

Previously was looking at 000 but the logo can's get pass me..

Ya sandwich dial looks nicer but both 000 and 111 dun have date.

When I was in europe early this year. I went to AD and Boutique to ask for 000, 005, 111 or 112 but all out of stock. They offer high-end model to me but I dun wan. [laugh]

Btw, I am meeting the seller tmr. Any bro can advice what should i look out for?

Many thanks in advance.

How well you know the seller is also very imp. If from the forum then see the reviews from other buyer on him.

For watch itself, wat brand and model you are buying?

For authentication on newer version or rolex would be easier cos can see the serial number on the watch itself and tally w the warranty card. There is also a Crown logo at the 6 oclock.

Well, from Ofrei, the ETA 2824-2 Chrono is already US$364. Assuming they earn a 50% profit, it would be around US$182 if you get manu direct.

Considering the cost of the whole works at 300E(Sgd450), I say it's pretty decent for the piece.

Well, the main gripe is the design. But the beauty of design is that there is something for everyone.

A rolex or omega owner might not appreciate the obvious mash up, but someone looking for a decent spec sport watch with a decent movement at reasonable cost would definitely consider this for a daily beater, if he doesn't mind the brand.

But having said so much, most important is the wearer likes the design and functionality. [laugh]

ok i agree on that [thumbsup]

how is the 16700 pepsi doing?

been loving it alot...

sub and pepsi on alternate days (trying prevent watch from stopping)

sub - 2sec/day (checked over few days rather consistent)

pepsi +2~3 sec/day approx (didnt really check - agaration only)

[laugh]

but not too fussy abt accuracy as long within the standard mentioned +4/-6?, i'm ok

Warranty card can be faked.

Bringing the watch to someone to authenticate is peace of mind for a small fee.

Also good to find out the condition of the watch before rolling out the dough. [;)]

Maybe can go reputable shop like Passion, JW or Chuan watch. See if they do authentication.

Jus fyi, in this year feb, euro selling PAM 111 @ Euro 4,300 (before tax rebate).
