I boh lui buy lah bro. I'm not into watches, only to pass on tradition to my sons.

Passed my Luminox to my eldest, another one to 2nd and third one I no more watches,

he was asking me about Chase Durer, si I was wondering, not investment wise, more like

when I'm gone, he will have a part of me as a memory. -_-

That why i say you should buy my vintage russian watch .

Cheap and damn good

This is an authentic Raketa Aviator made in late 70s early 80s

By the original Raketa factory which is one of the oldest and still operating Russian horology houses.

Only a few russian brands eg. raketa and poljot produce higher quality time pieces.

This is a manual winding caliber 2826H fully built and assembled in-house at the St Petersburg factory.

Features a 14k gold plated case and acrylic dome crystal.

I have fitted it with a high end new old stock Concord genuine crocodile skin strap with Bvlgari style custom made gold plated clasp.

Very unique round face and case and watch has day / date functions.

Very robust and hardy movement which keeps time very well.

A conversation starting piece which is but elegant yet sporty.

Going for a super price of $320. (which i might regret in future)

Only for folks who appreciate.

Brother, not investment, for memory.

I don't even wear a Rolex myself. Not into watches like you guys,

I'm more into cars, the watch for my son is for him to pass down to his

son, not necessary the same watch. My Dad left me a Pagol, I never got to own it.

Hmmz...Might I recommend a lesser known brand which looks and feels like a 8-10k watch for less than 10% of the price?

279_0.jpg

279_1.jpg

Riedenschild Wave-Master, Riedenschild Precision Instruments GmbH.

ETA 2824-2, 28k bmp, 42 hr pwr rsv

WR: 30 atm din 8310

40mm/12mm

Sapphire / Superluminova

Helium pressure valve(if you ever get past the swimming pool)

Comes with Steel bracelet and/or leather strap for interchangeability.

Looks solid both for dress and sports.

One might almost mistake it for a PO with an inverted helium valve.

Good looks, solid functionality, proven movement for a really low price.

Now, I'm not selling this though I'm really thinking of doing so. It's one of the pieces I'm eyeing right now.

Oh yeah, price: Around 328-400 Euros Shipped (depending on options)

What do u guys think of hublot's black magic series? I think that's what its called. It's nice when i tried it. Retail 15k. Hour glass offered 12k. I think 11k can get.

I like the look but money very hard to earn now.

Thanks TOJ, but i'm a bit skeptical towards non local AD.

Is there any local place that can do authentication for PAM?

Well, this is somewhere in between on a upcoming brand, but discounting that, the sum of parts are

somewhat in that price region already.

This is like a better seiko/orient for less.

ETA 2824-2 Auto (what MO is looking for) with 30atm(found only on higher range seiko diver watches and normally quartz chrono version only)

Thick sapphire crystal unlike seiko diver series.

Classic submariner/po look.

German engineering.

Different class dude.

Oh?

Thought for MO standard should be the VC Malte Tourbillon type.
